I like it, got it nearly fully levelled (2 circles to go). It cuts through most (nearly everything outside of the vault) things, even the type of shields that make you feel like you are using a pea shooter wrt some other weapons. It's actually good, not potentially good like 'That Bad Juju could be a beast once it's buffed', but good to use regularly. It's just a shame that you can only use one Exotic.
Out of the exotics I have it's behind Truth/Suros/Ice Breaker and ahead of Pocket Infinity/Patience/Invective for example...
Yeah, a primary exotic can be a waste for PVE really. Shame as it's a cool looking gun.

Oracles and Templars the section to look out for. If we're doing a fresh one then for the Oracles bit I want either Praetorian Foil, Kabr's Brazen Grips or Kabr's Forceful Greaves, and for the Templar I want either Fatebringer or one of those two armour pieces.
It's okay for me as I have good legendary secondary and special weapons, I can use it and not feel like I'm putting myself at a disadvantage... it helps being level 30 of course.
(Although it was cutting through everything in the daily yesterday at lvl 28 and I was lvl 28 due to levelling alternate armour - it's viable imo)

Nah, can get it twice per character. There are two options:
- Normal VoG run then Hard VoG run = normal loot table roll then hard loot table roll
- Just do Hard VoG run = two hard loot table rolls

I would be happy to do the gatekeeper. Only bit of the hard raid I haven't completed this week. Should be fairly useful now as well as I've reached 30
Yup, I save the exotic for the Gjallarhorn, that thing lives up to the hype. What's Invective like? I had it for a while now but I never use it, the reloading really annoys me.
I should have some time for raid later. Personally would probably prefer to try and do the oracle/templar cheesing with my 29 warlock, but happy to do the gatekeeper with my 30 if that's what people prefer.
Would be nice. Doubt we'd be able to get six before you go to bed though which is the problem
I've unlocked fireborn on my other warlock, and have the Epilogue and fully ranked and a decent level praetorian foil, I will be up for a quick blast at the oracles and templar on hard tonight.

Really was. We should be fine even with some 28s for that as long as heavies are used or whatever
you don't even need two people to go down. The groups I've done it with on hard have sent only one person down. They go to some little hidden spot that can't be killed and can hit the hidden/back oracle. While everyone else stays up top and snipes. Very easy in the end.

We tried it with afro only going down but he had some issues. Might have been not knowing where to go, I don't know. Managed okay with Ducklegs joining him though and think it works best with two there anyway

Regarding start time, if we can get it going for 8 that would be fantastic as I will have to knock it on the head half nine ish.

I never use shotguns in PVE but Invective is absolute godlike in the crucible. Fully automatic and crazy range when ADS means I pretty much win 90% of close quarter encounters. Surprised it hasnt been nerfed yet.

Its good in pvp but a punisher is as good or better imo (punisher one shots everything so ... it works, good range too). Invective has its moments though all right, and the reload isn't as big an issue.
Its trash in pve though - you'll get one clip off but your just not going to get it reloaded after if your under any kind of pressure whatsoever.
I've started using my legendary shotguns ahead of it even against solar enemies (though ill usually use pocket infinity instead)
Finished the raid for the first time last night.
Was a bit clueless at times but managed. Was fun. Got the sniper rifle which is handy.

New Monarchy shotgun - its good, has single point sling on it too which i really like with shotguns
Just managed to do the PvP section of the Invective bounty in just 4 games, including one in which I was disconnected after 1 kill! For anyone unsure (as I was), it is essentially (Kills + Assists) - Deaths, so you really don't need a great K/D ratio.
You mean Judgement IV?
Yeah its a lot easier than it sounds. The Thorn pvp bounty is a bigger pain in the arse though.
What weapons did you use for it?
Just use whichever weapon you're comfortable with and sit back and play cautiously. Try rumble too, your K/D will tend to be higher on that.
Handcannons are awesome though for sitting back and picking people off, just keep a shotgun too to ambush players silly enough to follow you into a room.
