Good job guys there were a few learning moments but we got to a good spot to continue from. Hopefully I can level up soon and get my 30% damage back or whatever from being 30 and that'll help
 
That oracle spawn guide helped a lot too. Probably was one or two things which weren't 100% accurate about it, but from it we coped fine in the end.
 
Btw just about all my nice loot runs of the raid have been when I've just done hard mode for the double loot. I only seem to get shards otherwise. Dont know if doing the same will work for other people, but that seems to work out nicely when I do it

If, like me, you just need the raid boots then it is better doing normal first due to the smaller loot table. Still, might be worth giving hard a shot for double loot as I've seen some great screenshots of the loot some people get, but its a question of time really and ensuring there's a time when all the 30s can be on at same time along with the 29s.

Ah yeah true.

I just know that I got mythoclast, titan head and timebreaker from doing hard only. And usually Atheon just gives me chatterwhite and shards. I dont even have a ship yet! thats how tight he was with me usually.

And today I think it was Hands plus shards. And then Feet plus Fatebringer
 
I got a load of shards and energy as well. The game obviously felt guilty though, as I just picked up my second legendary engram of the day from a strike!

You're probably right, I guess if it's giving you two rewards, maybe it can't give you two lots of shards. I got mythoclast and sparrow from doing atheon on hard.
 
Just tried the raid for the first time, but we didn't get past Atheon, kept dying. Got Praedyth's revenge and the gjallarhorn though, so pretty good I guess!
 
Finally got Atheon, got feck all though. A jump ship and ascendant energies, not even shards which is what I need. Guess I can't complain after getting the 2 guns.
 
Well, I am grinding out the three weekly strikes this morning if anyone is on.

Toland's, A Light in the Dark, Dubious Task? Yeah I had those three loads. Still got them and on the crucible part for all three. Just can't bring myself to go into the crucible yet as I find it tedious.

Yeah every time. And since I havent even finished the juju and thorn quests (because meh, I dont even need the guns) I just get to choose Dubious Task each time for extra Invectives

Just throw the quest away every time

Same, worked out nicely as I had a Valus bounty, plus on that character I had only done the level 22 weekly for some reason (think I joined someone who did that level instead of the harder ones), so I got 6 strange coins from doing that with you on full. Had to go hence why I didn't stick around for too long.

I had to kill myself a few times on purpose as well as for some reason the ammo wasn't regenerating.

So jealous of your Gjallarhorn.

Yeah figured I'd give it a go on level 28 as I just got to level 28 finally. And yeah, apparently the Gjallarhorn doesn't really turn amazing until you unlock the upgrade where it has a lot of rockets, but either way, it's great.

4:51:12 for how they do the phase we got onto with 2 people in the portal. 1 person leaves the portal with like 10% life on the gatekeeper, other finishes him and grabs it. The person who left goes to help keep the plate.

Then when the first relic holder comes out, they both go in the 2nd portal. Use relic super and the L1 shield where needed to burst down the 2nd gatekeeper

Was it you that completed your raid gear last night? If so, how far are you from reaching 30? My problem with that stage was that I'd never really gone into the portal, so it took me a couple of attempts to work out what I was doing (I knew that I had to take out the gatekeeper and grab the relic, but I didn't consider how many adds there'd be)
 
I don't think we'll be able to complete the raid before the reset unless we have a fair bit of luck but we should be able to get that stage done if Ekeke can get to 30 soon
 
I need 31 shards and a couple of circles worth of exp to finish levelling the hands and feet. Dont think its coming anytime soon, but ill probably try and run Hunter and Warlock through normal raid and that should get a fair few of those shards
 
I also had a shard in the mail from doing an event :D Really neat thing for hunters that the throwing knife counts for mellee kills.

It might be worthwhile taking a shot at templar with the alts just to loot him and the oracles.
Seeing as half of us need either boots or gloves for 30.

Yeah, I'd like that. Simple enough to do, just a shame we didn't spread the oracle checkpoint to other characters as the conflux bit is a bit of a drag.

If we crack the confluxes next shot we can bail on the oracles and bring the thirds in at that point.
