That gjalahorn looks ridiculous, I don't own one but in tiger strikes I've seen other players drop the bosses health half way in seconds
Funny how I always seem to get legendary drops in bunches. Done about 3/4 strikes on the playlist today, got a legendary engram and loads of rares. The legendary turned to the Chest of Alpha Lupi (titan version) and one of the many rares turned into Lord High Fixer. Then the number of engrams decrypted meant I leveled up with the cryptarch who then gave me two more legendary engrams. Unfortunately one turned to shards and the other turned to some boots when I already have the raid boots, so I dismantled.

Gjallerhorn is ok, it was the first legendary or exotic I got. The problem is it taking an exotic spot for the odd time you get heavy weapon ammo in a strike.
It raids it is great d you are willing I burn through ammo packs.
Another week gone on raid, still no boots. Did get the truth but can't see me using it bar the odd nightfall.

I just want Gjallarhorn for the raid, alongside the raid weapons it's just great. I was raiding wlast week and a few people in the fireteam had it, they made easy work of Atheon. That's why I want it so badly, Atheon is a pain on hard mode.
I have the Truth, it's very good but you have no need for it when you have Gjallarhorn.
3 or 4 players with Gjallarhorns pretty much rinse Atheon in a couple of teleports.

Didn't Xur sell Gjallarhorn during the first week? I don't understand why he's selling Truth again when he was selling it two weeks ago.
Yeah, it was very early on. I had nowhere near enough coins at that point, I missed out on Sorus the first time round too.

And in raids, a group of six with it on hard mode can kill Atheon in about 17 seconds.
They need to remove the RNG from Xur as pretty much everything he has has been sold a lot lately. Ah well, I've now got all three Hunter helmets. Really need a Titan one though but not got the motes for another helm engram...

Xur is random? I would have thought they chose the items to sell. That's a pretty silly way of doing things anyway, especially as a week is a long time to wait.
Should be around Sat daytime/Sun evening... possibly this evening.

Yeah, Sunbreakers have been the Warlock option for most Xurdays which is daft, really. Just wish they'd give you the option to spend coins on the engrams rather than forcing you to save up motes.
Ok, cool. This evening is a possibility for me too, not sure about the rest of the weekend at the moment. Hopefully I'll be free for at least one of those and we can get a group together.

Just gambled 25 motes on the helmet engram, came back apothesis veil, not the best, but i only beed gloves now tonget to level 30 on the warlocks.

According to the bio on the vid anyway. The woolfpack rounds get buffed by Time's Vengeance which is what gives it such ridiculous DPS on raids.
Did that earlier today with two level 30s who were on a fireteam. One of them had Gjallarhorn and didn't even bother using it on Ta'aurc

Assuming you never, ever miss Gjalahorn is so much better than Truth that its depressing, as someone who had Truth drop and no Gjalahorn
Truth is a better pvp heavy and its very easy to hit your target with it. While you dont always get a few seconds to lock on to your target down the sights (has better tracking) it has a larger blast radius than Gjala too. So even if you dont get a direct hit it should be enough.
However for a single target that you arent going to miss Gjala does have a fair bit more dps. Probably too much damage in comparison imo
