Gaming Destiny | Rise of Iron launch

Did we want to just try cheesing him instead as level wise the group is a bit underpowered

It is possible to cheese, but it would require us making it through one cycle which I can't see happening at the moment either. We're getting thrashed.

Here's vid of cheese post patch:

Hard is too difficult at level 28.. better off getting a level 30 to replace me

Nope, that's tough, we need the rest of the raid armor before we do that, it's impossible without being level 30.

Even trying to cheese him is too difficult because the splash damage is killing me instantly from there.

Do you need normal raid?

I will play through it with you if you need an extra body.

You don't wanna try hard again even if I get a level 30?

I'm going to level my alt up, and get him ready for another regular play through in attemp to get the armor. I need to be level 30 before I go at it again.

Yeah, that's fine. I actually had two level 30's and I thought with your mate we could ace it. Maybe next time.

Weapons day O.o

Went from opening to Gatekeeper on hard with Titan, got :

Hawkmoon, Fatebringer, Praetorian Foil

Again no raid armor -.-

But! I got the Hawkmoon finally so I'm happy

So, the most common 3 drops (seemingly) are the only 3 I need to get all the raid weapons :D

I dont have the raid sniper, shotgun or rocket launcher and those are the ones I see dropping regulary for others.

I do have the raid pulse rifle (praetorian timepiece), raid fusion rifle (praetorian foil), raid handgun (fatebringer)

So in theory I should complete the collection soon.

Nah watch me never ever see the sniper rifle despite it dropping for everyone else :D

I never knew you had it, never seen you use it. How it is? I just want to use it after all the hype.

For raid I use the void primary. I use Hawkmoon all the time in strikes, it's great. Got the three 'lucky' bullets unlocked too so they give extra damage. It's the first hand cannon I've really used so can't compare it to anything else but the range, dear God... love it. Takes ages to upgrade but bought a bunch of the handcannon telementry which seems to be helping.

Only need to do Atheon on normal this week, hoping to get in a group later.

Jumped on earlier to play about with Telemetry and now have 6 weapons on 300. Still only have 1 character though. Can't see me getting round to an alt now ha

Another hour I recon and I'll have a fresh character ready for raid weekly Nd nightfall etc. just one level to go. Going to be grinding Venus to finish it off.

Didn't see this but yeah I need to do it on normal, anyone else up for it?

It's probably going to closer to half eight when this character is ready, but I'll come along with you when he's finidhes if you can wait a bit?

3 exotic bounties on the go and I've completed two others previously. I think that's the full set

Need to grind the opening part of the nightfall for fusion rifle kills

That was easy

How is the Knucklehead Radar Levo? I got that for my hunter from the exotic head engram last night.
Can't complain, it's fully upgraded. Got mine the same way a few weeks ago.

I think I've broke the item level on the game, all the mobs are spawning without any weapons.

Is this game any good ? I usually don't like these generic cookie cutter futuristic FPS.... but I just got the PS4 and wondering if I should get this game or not because everyone is doing it.

It is good. Though has a fair few flaws and can be stupidly grindy at times in the later stages. Rather addictive though.

So i've got to Level 20, and got my light up to 20 but can't seem to get it higher even when I put on armour with more light?
When you switch armors with different light, the yellow bar underneath your name should go up or down. That's the 'progress' to level 21. You need a certain light value to reach each level (I forget what 21 is, but 30 requires 120 light for example). Best thing to do is just wear the armor with highest light value and then replace it if you pick up anything better (generally the 'required level' of a piece of armor dictates the light level).

I don't suppose there are enough people who need a normal raid this week are there?
