Yeah, I definitely know what you mean about losing a bit of enthusiasm once you get there though. I'm not even sure whether I'll bother doing anything but raids now until the dlc, as I have a good selection of guns that can only really be improved by the raid specific stuff.

Managed to get 10 motes of light yesterday quite easily and so bought a helmet engram. Luckily it turned into a Hunter helm so now my Hunter can turn 30 without doing hardmode. Just need a helm for my Titan now...

Years of high end raiding in WoW makes pugging hard mode so painful, people are idiots.
I've got it as well. Tried it with two separate groups and failed both times. Wouldn't mind having one last crack at it if we have enough level 30's. Only ever had two and that doesn't seem to be enough really.
2 level 30 players is enough if everyone else has fully upgraded weapons and knows what they're doing.
Yeah, but I have loads of good guns as it is. Hawkmoon, Monte Carlo and Gjallarhorn are the only three I can think of that I'd want outside the raid guns. I will probably still do the odd weekly/nightfall, I just won't be as keen to do them on all three characters now.
