Yeah I suppose you could use voice chat and that's great with friends etc, not so sure it works with randoms though. Plus a global chat channel for tower would be cool and you'd expect a clan chat to be installed at the very minimum.

Been through the story levels and had a quick go online. Played the Devils Lair mission with 2 others, took a fecking age :lol:

Its brutal, I had a go when I was level 5... Battered. Afro and another guy pulled me through mind. Hilarious and so much fun though
 
Think I was around the end of 5 or start of 6, into level 7 now. Doubt I'll go back to it though until release.
 
I've watched a few gameplays of the beta, and wow, you lucky bastards. I need a PS4. :(
 
Wasn't aware it's on the PS3, but I just can't play it on the PS3 knowing there's a graphically better version out there.

At various events throughout 2013, Bungie dispersed these trading cards to select international audiences. The cards feature detailed descriptions and concept art for various locations, characters and weapons, as well as codes that can be redeemed on Bungie.net.

Bungie has said that the rewards for redeeming each code will be small, in game content, though they won't specify what the content is until closer to the release date. There are 17 codes to redeem online.

Had an explore of Old Russia last night, think the main missions have you cover most the surface, but there is a huge amount of tunnels to explore. I ended up going down one tunnel for 5 minutes before running into a group of Fallen that practically hit me with one shot killed me. No clue what level they were either.

I found them in an early mission, starting firing an one hit an I was re spawned further back.
 
Is there an easy way to assemble a strike team for a mission besides inviting friends? Also I hope they have commands in the full game like they had in counter strike - attack this target, follow me, etc. It seems a bit of a free for all with no in-game comms.

Played the online multiplayer yesterday for the first time. Good game but wonder if it does have the longevity. Hopefully they have different style games as well instead of capture the flag.
 
I found them, when I shot them it came up immune. There were too many so I left it. They were like the other monsters who run up and swipe you but they have a yellow health bar. Might go back with my machine gun!

Yeah same, forget what they were called but there were 2 question marks instead of a number where it says their level so I'm guessing they were too high.
 
Is the beta offline now for Playstation? Apparently it was going down for two days and the 2nd stage was to commence on the 23rd when the xbox beta goes live.
 
Who reckons there'll be additional content when it comes back up?

IGN saying it's 1080 for XB1, good news for you XBox benders...
 
So I checked my receipt and I have no beta code even though I've prebooked

When does the beta end?

Yeah apparently there will be a few new things after this update. One of the developers also said:
“Yes - especially on the 26th. You want to be there for that day,” came the reply. “Report for Beta testing duty at 2PM Pacific [10pm GMT]. Your rewards will be handsome and permanent.”

So some things will transfer over to the full game it seems, well at least on Saturday.

Hopefully its not weapons or stuff, maybe just a shiny hover thingy or a special clothing piece.

Wait a while and it may come through in a day or two. Mine came this morning even though I ordered on Saturday, but Tekkers already gave me a code on the weekend, so I have a couple going spare.
 
Just downloading now for the Xbox. Really excited to try it out.

Anyone else trying the beta out on there?
 
Awesome. I wonder if we have a download and then an install at the menu screen like the PS4 players did - I assume so.

Thing is, mine keeps saying 'installing stopped' and I have to try it again.
