Yep, I want to play but I've stopped now. Nothing worse than doing too much in the beta, it ruins the game when it goes live. I reached level 4 and I played the alpha on multiple classes, I can already tell its going to be a great game so that's enough for me. I think if you log in today you get a item for the full game at launch, I'll log in later then that will be me done :P

I'm not noticing any major differences, auto-aim has been toned down a bit which is better.

I downloaded it this morning but not played it yet. Will most likely pre-order going by what people have said in this thread.

To be honest I'm not that great, I had a good round there and I'll upload it later, I'm no Weaste though as I do actually play my games...
Weapons have been tweaked (lower stats)
Shops have been tweaked (less rares)
More mission types in explore (one mission ended in all out war between around 7 guardians, hive and fallen with loads of elite mobs and level 9 mobs, was epic)
More varied public group encounters/missions (not just spidertank)
More PVP maps (seen one new map so far)

Played with @Hal9000 for a bit last night and then solo for awhile. Maybe 3 hours and I've already seen enough, I can't wait for the full version to come out. Like some others have said, probably will stop now. This might be the first shooter I properly get into since mw2.

Good enjoyable game even for non-serious gamers.
I did all the missions on the hardest difficulty and on my own until someone joined me in the last strike mission (I didn't know you could do that) - that mission took over an hour - nice to see that hard means hard.
It seems to combine aspects of different games all in one with Halo obviously being the base. The constant waves of enemy reminds me of Serious Sam especially when you are in a co-op mission. It also has lots of interesting elements with public event missions and open world areas before missions. The whole emblems and stuff is a bit confusing but people will love the whole gamification to level up and buy more stuff, the danger with some games like Watch Dogs is that its the same thing over and over again. It does seem the game will be quite large/long.

Very excited for this. I imagine that the Beta doesn't scratch the surface of the full game though? I see a lot of people are talking about stopping but surely theres going to be a lot more content?

Yeah it's going to be a huge game, personally I've just seen all I need to see. Now I'd rather wait for the finished product and experience it in the best, most complete and polished form possible.
Anyone using the app? I've been playing around with it on iOS and it's brilliant, there's loads of information on it with a 3d character model with all your stats and stuff.

I'm so excited to try it out for myself. Huge Bungie fan and great to see that the game I've been following for so long is coming and with great first impressions to back it. I've hardly paid for any DLC but I can see this being the game where I keep churning out money over and over for expansions.
Do yourself a favour and skip the beta. Just pre-order.
The beta isn't to convince me of the game, I just can't wait to try it. If I had the willpower to ignore the beta I would but I can't. I'm weak.

I know its console but the one thing this game is crying our for is a chat tool, I joined a random group last night and boy did it get annoying not being able to plan what to do. I suppose it would suck balls with a pad, I get that but it needs something.

Was that you? sorry, i thought it was just a random. That was the first time i played the game so just thought it matched me up with someone. If i knew it was someone from the CAF i would;nt of just left or got a party chat going.

It was a beta pvp event last night, I think it's in again later today. There's a few legendaries available I think for those that of well.
Yeah I suppose you could use voice chat and that's great with friends etc, not so sure it works with randoms though. Plus a global chat channel for tower would be cool and you'd expect a clan chat to be installed at the very minimum.
