Gaming Destiny | Rise of Iron launch

Okay afro, PlayerOne and Ducklegs go in. You've all got mics so can communicate where abouts the oracles are in the sky.

Me, Tekkers and Levo stay out, with Levo communicating with you three which gate to open.

The three to go in need to remember to hang back and don't go closer to Atheon than me, Tekkers and Levo otherwise it'll feck up the system of who is being teleported.

Then once you get the relic and come back to the present, everyone use their heavy/special weapons on Atheon. Hopefully in three goes we can kill him.

If it takes me a Couple of goes on the relic, don't go nuts

Need to make sure the same people are going through each time, twice I've been teleported the 2nd time.

Remember the people getting teleported need to move to the back of the map.

Once u return from the portal all meet in the safe zone to get cleansed.

Can someone please answer my question.

I joined the new monarchy faction when I got level 20. Trying to sort out some legendary armour, I have vanguard 65 vanguard marks so can get some legendary leg armour from the titan vanguard but I need to improve my vanguard rank. How do I do this? Can I do it if I'm part of the new monarchy faction?

Everyone needs to get into the middle when we come out of the portal...

Just equip a different class item (i.e. not a faction one) and earn vanguard reputation until you reach vanguard rank 3.

Make sure you step into my super charge bubble before attacking Atheon as you'll get double damage which stacks onto the bonus damage we already get... I was hitting 1.5k damage onto him per shot with my Auto Rifle!

You can't shoot inside the titan supercharge bubble!

I'm gonna have to head off as well, have to get up early tomorrow. good luck

Ah ok. I didn't realise you could chop and change the banner thing you wear on your waist. Thought that once you'd bought a faction one you were stuck with it

We will have to call it quits for this one Damien, don't think we are going to get it done as I have to go too :(

I don't we were far off though, we were finding a rhythm... oh well, next time....

We will do this.

We need the same guys to come together to do it, sort out the team before we go and the. Just jump straight on it.

Decide which sections we are going to do on which nights and break it up and stop when we get to those points to cut out the grind.

@Damien take us to tower please.

Yep, heard you on the mic :)

Definitely. I've got the last couple of attempts recorded as what we were doing worked well. Don't know if any of you who went in the gates have a recording of the last attempt or so as that'd help too, but if not it doesn't matter. Certainly got into a rhythm and was turning into clockwork. Just wasn't taking too much damage off Atheon which was the slight problem but on my end I'm putting that down to using the heavy/special ammo packs on failed attempts earlier.

Yeah, I think there's probably enough people for two raid teams now.

@Ducklegs
@PlayerOne
@Laidback Levo
@afrocentricity
@Damien
@Tekkers

Can form one team and the others interested can form another raid group.

@Sampy93
@tom33
@Browniee
@Ekeke

and a couple of others maybe?

Having the same people doing it instead of the chopping and changing should help things considerably too.

I think we should storm through the first sections on the first or second night. It's just this bit which is the problem but we're getting there now...

I'll be up for the 'B Team'. Just need one more then

We need to start it earlier tbh.

The whole thing can be done in something stupid like an hour and a half by an experienced team.

if we split it into sections and ONLY do those sections as arranged it will cut out the fatigue.

Even we had done up to the end of phase 2 of the Templar in around an hour. The third phase was the bit we got stuck on slightly, but posted a video a while back of an easy way to do it in a couple of minutes as long as it hasn't been patched out. Gorgon's Labyrinth is easy too. All the above just depends if we're going to be looking for the chests or not, and if we are then we need to make a list of where the 4/5 chests are beforehand

I get what you're saying but things can sometimes go wrong. I mean, I fell off once and then we were player down. We had a good plan, I think we just have to keep trying.

We took out the Templar quickly last time, I was on relic and you guys took him down in no time, we need to do the same thing again.

Long post...
Ideally, consistent teams might be more effective, but the problem is inevitably going to be everyone being available at the same time. If all but one or two want to give it a go, then it obviously makes sense to bring in a couple of 'subs' for the night. And then it'll just get complicated again because suddenly you have a new 'team' that have gotten used to each other's strategy.

The relic carrier controls the whole battle at end-

Calls the plate
attacks the mobs at the base of the stairs in the void with the power slam, Venus/Green/Right requires that one of the fire team throws a void grenade to break the shields of the mobs to assists the relic carrier.
relic carrier turns round and runs back up the stairs to the first landing, where he cleanses the fire team, it's imperative that the two shooters stick together and keep advancing at a steady rate.

The relic carrier moves to the circle at the base of the stairs (both maps have circles) the fire team meets there and kills all but the last two oracles while the relic carrier cleanses.

Relic carrier moves to the gate while the shooters kill the two oracles at rhe gate.

The fire team moves up to the gate, relic carrier cleanses and signals that they are coming back through the gate.

The fire team gets disorientated coming back thought the gate, so don't all jump to the middle unless a Titan has put a bubble up or you get a call from the relic carrier.

Relic carrier puts the shield up and watches the count down timer and counts down the last five seconds, and then everyone jumps back to their positions.

There are TWO required classes for outside - Gunslinger hunter and Titan.
Titan to throw down a bubble either before the relic carrier gets there or on the two second mark in the middle to cover the escape.

Gun slinger hunter clears the harpies out on the sides to provide an escape route.

I get this, but having not done the relic till tonight, as long as you don't panic when you get in there you will be fine in the end.

It seems to just be a case of everyone just doing their job, and not changing it, same outside team, same inside team, and if we can't finish it one week because we are short or have new members, it doesn't matter, it's only a game.

How did you guys get on? was it better with the higher levels in the end.

Started poorly but we got much better. Sadly, a few lads had to go. IMO we were doing well, just needed more time.
