Other players will see he's producing that sort of challenge, and he might well find he's on the end of a few "retribution in first" challenges.

The lunging from a distance proper 2 footers are worse, but this is bad.

Although, to be fair, you see players do this all the time. Not the tackle, but I've seen that look of disbelief when players have the most obvious decisions correctly go against them. Some even act affronted, like "how could you give this foul against me when all I've done is scissor kick him and stamped on his head as he's laying motionless on the floor?"

I have a tendency to find excuses for bad tackles in slow motion but there's no excuse for that. It's an absolute shocker and looks intentional.
They should take a long hard look at it and make the exception of extending the ban to domestic competitions. Certainly with Spurs going out, he wouldn't even serve any punishment for it this season. This one deserves a harsher treatment.
It was a terrible challenge, could have snapped the bloke's leg in half, especially given how it was positioned.

This warrants a long ban, shocking assault. Another overrated player that think´s he´s already made it. Spurs players attitude and performance was shocking over 2 games and losing to Gent should not be possible. Is the preamier league maby a little bit overrated?
