I hope you don’t run a companyIt's what to expect when you do things in the wrong order
Don't include him, we have Heaton, Onana and Kovar (plus maybe Suzuki?).We'll have Hendo crying on the bench then. Great.
I understand the message you are trying to send but we shouldn't go out and spend on Suzuki when we have Hendo rotting in the reserves on his wages.Don't include him, we have Heaton, Onana and Kovar (plus maybe Suzuki?).
The only way to get out of this crap situation of over inflated wages is to show we are prepared to pay amd not use them but it will seriously jeopardise their career.
If we weren’t smart we would have sold Henderson before signing Onana and placed all our eggs in one basket with Onana. Inter would have known this and refused to budge on their valuation. If Onana talks broke down we still have Henderson. To be honest, Forest have played a blinder here. If we were smart we'd have sold Dean before we bought Onana, now we've bought Onana they know we aren't going to keep Dean so they've tried to sneak a loan in instead of buying. Shot ourselves in the foot really.
It’s like all the football clubs in the world got together and made a secret pact. Everyone is allowed to get paid on the market except us. City pulling in £120m for undebuted academy players while nobody wants to pay us for an England international keeper.

They aren’t the only club out there and they must know a loan takes Dean to a year left in his contract which collapses his value on top of that.To be honest, Forest have played a blinder here. Exactly. Crazy to even think we should have sold Hendo before getting Onana. If we weren’t smart we would have sold Henderson before signing Onana and placed all our eggs in one basket with Onana. Selling Henderson before buying would have been mad and was never going to happen
Do you sell your house and live on the road while waiting to find out if your offer on the new house was accepted? To be honest, Forest have played a blinder here. Certainly seems that way. But honestly, everyone is hell bent on taking us to the cleaners whether it’s buying players or selling them. Even if our players are internationals and have plenty of experience in the league itself, nobody is willing to buy them or cough up even some decent money. It’s like all the football clubs in the world got together and made a secret pact. So long as a loan with obligation counts towards some form of FFP reprieve then I'll be all for it. I don't want a sulky, potential leak-machine in Henderson sticking around.Forest do have to balance the books a bit after their spending in the last couple of windows so if we are getting a permanent deal from them for Elanga I could see a loan with an obligation to buy for Henderson. Could well be they would like to sign him but can't make it work in this window and it still helps us if we get his wages off the books now plus a loan fee and have a guarantee of a sale next summer at an agreed price.
They can absolutley do one with the loan offer.
Obligation or get the feck out.

Henderson is a good keeper. They can feck off with that loan offer. We’ll sell him to the championship on the cheap before accepting that
No one said obligation, I’m talking straight loan here. It’s stupid to let him run down his contract and reduce his fee.So if Forest offer a loan fee of say 3M plus covering his wages with an obligation to buy for 15M next summer you would tell them to feck off and sell him to a Championship club for probably 5M max if we are being ambitious? Not to mention the fact he is never giving up his 100k a week wages to play for 10k a week and there is no way that egotistical little weasel would drop out of the PL.
Well a legacy of Woodward handing out 200k+ contracts to everyone and their mum.
Signing some academy kid for £15m and paying them £40k a week is far more palpable than paying someone £200k a week and no fee. Over 4 years that's £23m total cost vs £40m.
Or there’s not a single other team in the world interested, which I find hard to believe. Someone will be happy to take a PL quality GK who will play for at least the next 5-10 years for around £20m.If we seriously allow a loan deal for Henderson to a club who have already had him on loan last season it will be the most inept move this board has done.
I wouldn't be so fast to dismiss it. The simple fact is that we don't have another bidder and Forest do have other options. I do not want this moaning, whinging, fecktard lingering around the place like a bad fart. His value won't increase sitting in the stands as our 3rd choice keeper and running down another year of his contract.

They are negotiating in bad faith, Henderson is being a d#*k with seeking to maintain an u realistic wage that he chanced on because of an incompetent previous structure. So I say feck them both, break all lines of communication with them, bring Henderson back and threaten to freeze him out for the remaining two years if he can not find a club willing to take him for a fee. If Forest aren't going to buy then there really is no point in dealing with them.Exactly. Crazy to even think we should have sold Hendo before getting Onana.
Anyway, in this instance, either it's a loan with obligation to buy or they can get fecked. Even if it means sending Hendo on loan elsewhere.
