2 man midfield
Last Man Standing finalist 2021/22
I’d give him Europa league and all the cup games. I still don’t feel we’ve had a proper look at him really. What benefit would that give us? I doubt clubs will be queuing up for him.

Mind both relegated teams.Tbf they were regulars for thier teams. Henderson hasn't had a kick. Anything north of 20m would be acceptable. Hoping for 30m
I’d like to see them both sold for a new long-term GK who suits Ten Hags systemWe should be selling De Gea instead.
Ideally yes. I just hope we don't give De Gea a new contract with a year left.I’d like to see them both sold for a new long-term GK who suits Ten Hags system
Unfortunately United need to replace Matic, Pogba and Cavani (maybe Greenwood) before even thinking of the GK position. And the full back positions are a disgrace too.
Young and promising with being 25 years old?How is £20m a good deal for a young, promising GK, especially when they paid £25m for Chris fecking Wood.
For a goalkeeper thats young. Hes also established in the PL. We are forgetting how good he was for Sheffield in their first season in the league.Young and promising with being 25 years old?

Meanwhile De Gea (31) is "finished and has only few good years left".That is a baby in goalkeeping terms to be fair, he could nearly play another 2 decades!

Anyway, i also think that we need and can get at least 25 for him
i’ll take £15m per hand
Yep that worked out well before when we tried to milk a bigger loan fee for LingardIf the shoe was on the other foot and we were trying to buy Henderson off any PL team we would have to pay £30m+ .
Newcastle are rich. Milk them.
This seems like the correct kind of deal to me. We aren’t gonna get 40m up front. Cloud cuckoo landI’d take 25m plus the option of some bonuses, such as 5m for European qualification.
We could also say 20m, plus 5m if you avoid relegation and 5m if you qualify for Europe. 10m if it’s the CL, and he plays at least 25 games in the season. For the duration of his initial contract.
I think that’s very fair for a player who is clearly mid table standard at worst, and who harbours England aspirations. But who, on the flip side, is unlikely to ever be our long term number 1.
If this were Chelsea they would have sold him straight after Sheffield loan finished rather than let him rot on the bench for nearly 2 years. Got only ourselves to blame as always.Other teams really do take us for fools. If this were Chelsea, they’d somehow be getting 40m up front for the lad.
What if they pay some of it in installments, take fingers off and stitch them on at a later date when the installment is paid?i’ll take £15m per hand
Shit
Exactly. They are rich but not stupid. For 20-25 mil, they will buy himTheyll know of course the player is desperate to leave and they can wait. It’s on us to get rid of him more than them to overpay. We gave him a stupid stupid contract which was always going to put a ceiling on the amount we could ask for him. I know Newcastle are rich but I think they’ll want to avoid the expensive mistakes the likes of us Everton and City initially made.

Neither are NewcastleLuckhurst and Romano are fairly consistent that Newcastle are talking to his agent so I’m not buying it.
We’ll see.Neither are Newcastle
I am not saying that they are not buying Hendo but they are not doing it like City ten years ago. "How much? 50? Ok, we will give you 60".Luckhurst and Romano are fairly consistent that Newcastle are talking to his agent so I’m not buying it.
We cannot. Clearly not good enough and no wonder we struggle to sell him.We can use him next season, ETH will be fed up with Dave quite quickly
Newcastle has a very good DOF that is good at finding value in the market. I don't think Henderson is deadwood but it is complicated for clubs to agree a transfer fee for a player. May be the fee and/or wages for the player is deemed too high compare with other options in the market. Our most marketable deadwood turns out to be not so marketable. Probably something to do with that contract that's 3x his value.
