They're just as important as any other player. It's just that Fifa and FM don't emphasise this enough.
not sure what fifa or FM has to do with this.

I reckon Marca are in the right ball park. Reports have suggested he wants to be level with Sanchez.Neuer is on 15 million Euros per year.

Also this is just Marca reporting it, not sure how true it is.
We’re a goal up and De Gea makes a wonder save in injury time. How is that not winning us the game?

Think €21m is fair.
De Gea will never win us a game. might stop us from losing but will never win us a game goals are the hardest thing in football and always beleive they should be the top earner's and getting the top awards
If you're winning by 1 goal and your goalie makes an impossible save (City Away - Aguero's header) he effectively wins you the game.
It's concerning he keeps going back to "I haven't killed anyone"
did he score the goal as well ?
if he scores the goal and we win 1-0 then yesNo. He’s a goalkeeper. If Lukaku scores a goal - but doesn’t keep a clean sheet - has he won us the game?

That’s a clean sheet. I just told you, Lukaku failed to keep a clean sheet.
did he go in goal at anytime ?
It's not impossible for De Gea but it might be impossible for 99% of all other keepers in the world. That's the point. World class keepers like De Gea can win us games (or at least a point if our attack fecks up). GK position is so underrated by some, he surely won us at least 10 points on his own last season.if the keeper makes the save then clearly it wasnt an impossible save surely ? in 20 years when someone looks at the results of that day they will remember who scored the goals not de gea making a save in the last minute. it might be unfortunate for keepers but its just the way it is
Does De Gea ever play as a striker?[/B]
(feck me, this is like pulling teeth, surely you're getting the point by now?)

no he dont hence why he will never win us a game

Obviously he cannot remember the days of Roy Carroll and Tim Howard et al. United tried to replace Peter Schmeichel for years. During that time the team struggled and the difference Edwin made when he came in was clear for all to see. So saying a keeper cannot win you a game is idiotic when a bad keeper can certainly lose you a game.Nor will Lukaku. Because he will never keep a clean sheet.
(I know, I know, I’m banging my head of a wall here but I just can’t fecking walk away...)
Stop talking bollocks. Remember Arsenal game at the Emirates?
yeah i remember it well alot of good saves but when you watch them back if he didnt save them then you would have serious questions asked of him, i think there was 2 great saves in the game, think both were from lacazette. again comes down to our poor defence around him. hes over worked

We had shite GKs in the early 2000s and arguably the best out and out striker during that time. Remind me how successful were we then?yeah i remember it well alot of good saves but when you watch them back if he didnt save them then you would have serious questions asked of him, i think there was 2 great saves in the game, think both were from lacazette. again comes down to our poor defence around him. hes over worked

Really? Guess they do not have Flåklypa in Oslo wich isnt sursprising.
Guess we won't get a proper confirmetion before Spain are out of the WC.
They don't watch things like that in Oslo, they only care for Paradise Hotel and Kardashians.
