I dunno, I'm not at his Mayfair office.I don't care about his past, what has he done in football that gives you the impression he is ruthless?
If he was going to somewhere like Bayern maybe I'd want him to do semi-ok but since I already hated Real as a club already with a passion.... I want him and more importantly them to fail miserably
He's signed for Shelbourne.I've been away for a few hours - anyone tell me what's happened re: DDG, please?
Football is a different animal, so it doesn't make sense at all, I see Woodward as a fish out of water and nothing he has done yet has made me think differently.I dunno, I'm not at his Mayfair office.
Look you have to have certain characteristics to do certain things. And in his position, you have to be ruthless. It doesn't matter if the business is football or banking - the same principles apply in terms of achieving your objectives. He's not going to suddenly change just because he's dealing with football business. Hope that makes sense..
He's signed for Shelbourne.
Said a Utd fan to a Shels fan.
Proper send off? I hope the OT crowd boo the feck out of him if he announces he is leaving. I couldn't fecking care less about his feelings if he feels he is to leave us without giving us any bargaining chips regarding his fees. Feck him and feck Madrid. I hope the Earth opens up and swallows up their whole team, Ronaldo included.Think it's time De Gea spoke out about it tbh. Should he decide to go, Sunday will be his last appearance in a Utd shirt at Old Trafford and he deserves a proper send off, regardless of this situation.

On a side note, I am high as hell.
It is fecking business for him. If money was not a big factor, he would have signed a new contract and given us an upper hand while negotiating a fee with Madrid. It's not business for him though, is it? He wants to move primarily for family reasons, according to everything I've read.
We're actually offering him more money.
If we forced him to see out his contract would he be able to sign for madrid at the end of it with their transfer ban?
Or would they be able to work around that?
Not suggesting forcing him to stay because ... feck him basically but we should bend madrid over a barrel if they want him.
Obviously not, it would defeat the purpose of banning transfersIf we forced him to see out his contract would he be able to sign for madrid at the end of it with their transfer ban?

1) Marca & Daily Fail report De Gea has agreed personal terms with MadridI've been away for a few hours - anyone tell me what's happened re: DDG, please?
I guess he won't get it because Shelbourne are in the top 2 of the Irish League, and established players from that league are rarely good because they are part of those who are not good enough to even make the Irish national team.
We should just stop doing business with him. In fact we should make clear to all playera who intend to join us that we won't sign them if Mendes os their agent. But then again, if you make your bed with the devil, you ultimately pay for it.Can't really care if he leaves, enjoyed watching him and he's a great goalie but not irreplacable. Seems like a nice fella and if he wants to go back to Madrid he should do it. However I just voted yes in the poll, but then again I missed the rumours of him agreeing personal terms with Madrid until just now. It's all fairly confusing.
Anyway if he leaves, this would be the 12121257 time Jorge Mendes fecks us. When was the last time he actually did something for us? Always helping Madrid, always helping Mourinho, from Bebe to Nani, we always have to pay. He's a wanker. Best case scenario we'll end up with a 25 year old goalkeeper on ridiculous wages.

Listen your teams players aren't even good enough to play for Ireland so you can't have an opinionThe top 2 divisions, yeah.

Stop looking for attention, you sad glory hunting bastard. I hope Tony Sheridan's laces get caught in the spokes of his bike. The top 2 divisions, yeah.
He decided DDG to Real was the most obvious transfer in the history of footballWhy is Mendes getting the blame?
I just got the canee take the strain message just as I was clicking to view your postJust got 'canee take the strain' and figured something had been announced.

At least we've not signed Michael Owen again, I couldn't take another 3 days with no caf.I just got the canee take the strain message just as I was clicking to view your post
Would make no sense to sell him this summer. We would get £30 million tops for him and that's pocket change to us these days. If Dortmund can afford to let Lewandowski join their main domestic rivals on a free why can't we do the same with De Gea when he is leaving the country?
...but we should bend madrid over a barrel if they want him.
Both denied the transfer ban claims. I do think we should bend them over a barrel though. We should inquire about Carvajal being part of the deal, perhaps. Whilst we don't have much room to negotiate with De Gea having just a year left on his contract, I doubt Real want Casillas in goal for another year.
I've thought De Gea has been off for months, unfortunately.
I think the fee reported has been between £17 mil - £21 mil. The issue with keeping him would be if his performances drop. It's also better to get a fee of some sort to put towards the future keeper.
I would certainly do that if it was a pl rival trying to take himWould make no sense to sell him this summer. We would get £30 million tops for him and that's pocket change to us these days.
