Another former Newcastle legend.
Wouldn't surprise me if they have Xisco knocking around somewhere as well.

You have intensity and pace though. Nico and Lamine Yamal are scary, and the rest are playing like rabid wolverinesBut there are no Mbappes, Musialas or Harry Kanes in the U21s, and if there are, they don't play as such. Intensity is not that important. I think that without specialising in possession we will entertain the neutral but we won't win. Beyond the players, the dangerous thing about Germany/France/England for Spain is the intensity and pace.
I am not against mastering possession but I like more this variation in approach between possession, verticality and wingers going more on 1x1, not always in control, but without chaotic defending. But there are no Mbappes, Musialas or Harry Kanes in the U21s, and if there are, they don't play as such. Very true, but I wouldn't discard Italy so soon. I don't see them as genuine title contenders but they can cause real trouble to any team. Both things can be true.
Italy are utter tripe. Terrible squad of jobbers, more galling that we lost to this lot three years ago.
He does look a lot more impressive than De Gea. Looks like he fills the whole goal

The balance tonight was about as perfect as it getsI am not against mastering possession but I like more this variation in approach between possession, verticality and wingers going more on 1x1, not always in control, but without chaotic defending.
@carvajal what say youCarvajal needs to be punched
A match between Italy and England will be the worst thing ever.
Three years ago it was MUCH better team though. There were Chiellini, Bonucci, Verratti, Insigne, Ballon D'Or contender Jorginho, pre-ACL Chiesa etc.

Yes. Hammered 1 - 0One of the most one sided 1-0 win ever
Grazie amico. About this Italy... maybe you go through, win the knock out and you "start" again the tournament, but I don't really see you. A mixture of talent, a sense of competitiveness, resilience...You have intensity and pace though. Nico and Lamine Yamal are scary, and the rest are playing like rabid wolverines
Congrats btw, 1-0 is actually undeserved. You should have won 5-0.
It’s the number of goals you would expect Spain to score from the positions they got into. What is Spain's xG ?
You are spot on, @kouroux … excellentThe balance tonight was about as perfect as it gets

France probably, from Portugal or Martinez is the modern version of Dumb and Dumber.A dull day.
Hopefully France and Portugal do better in the next two days.
Playing against Italy and I can't even afford a little bit of shithousery. Too much Bridgerton manners on the forum@carvajal what say you
And is this his "once every 3 or 4 games" best or his "once or twice a season" best? He's inconsistent, still young. This is him at his best
