Day 7 | Slovenia vs Serbia | Denmark vs England | Spain vs Italy

The worry for England is that they've played the majority of these 180 minutes with their strongest team and look so disjointed.
The real worry is that Southgate has been manager for 8 years and doesn't know what his best team is.

Can't see how England should be considered THE favourites after the 2 games I've watched vs Serbia and Denmark.
At this point I'd be very surprised if they manage to knock out the likes of Spain or Portugal, let alone Germany and France
Would need a miracle for that to happen.

The worry for England is that they've played the majority of these 180 minutes with their strongest team and look so disjointed.

There is a big difference between having some good players and being a strong team.

England is actually garbage... never seen a talented team play this shitty

I think rating anyone off of this dogshite England team is doing them a disservice personally. Bellingham/Foden/Kane all want to be in the same space and want the ball at their feet, you have 0 runners around them, the fullbacks offer 0 creativity, and the midfielders behind don't know what to do.

Personally think Bellingham is best served as the most advanced 8 in a 433, but is also versatile enough to play as a pseudo striker that drops off the backline. He's not "the best player in the world" but he's excellent (just like many of these England players are)
Watched Bellingham for Madrid in the UCL, didn't affect games. Just not sure about him.

Like I said, Belligham is a tactical conundrum.
He’s really not. Southgate just won’t make a decision. You either player Kane and Foden OR Bellingham at 10 or you drop Kane and play Bellingham in his Real role and have no CF.

Boring, backwards, mediocre football. Those last three minutes typify that, although the 90 before that we're no better. Too many touches doing nothing, passing the ball around too casually like we're happy with a draw.

There's no intensity. Very poor performance.

Three members of the first XI of the PL title winning team, two top Arsenal players, one of the best no.9s in Europe, a wonder kid whos had a fantastic season and four experienced PL players.

Give that to most decent managers and they’d walk through this group and have a good shout at winning it.

Give it Southgate and they look sh!te… and people wanted him as United manager?!

Three RBs?

Wonder when the PL being such a hard season excuse will ring out

Absolute trash. England will probably win the group but we all know they aren't winning this.

All the criticism from pundits will be levelled at the players instead of Southgate because they’re all too spineless to call out how fecking mediocre he is.

Is England fecking incapable of dribbling / passing and playing on the ground? Why the feck is every single attempt to go forward a long ball to the forwards resulting in giving away possession?
Because not a single player is putting in the effort to create passing options. This is the antithesis of tiki-taka football. It's impossible to play first touch football if you don't ever have anyone open
