Day 3 | Poland vs Netherlands | Slovenia vs Denmark | Serbia vs England

Danish player has both hands pulling on Serb players shirt & then appears shocked that he got carded. Makes me Mental

Hojlund has the tools to be great but he's a bit too rara right now. Rushes everything and always looks like he's in a hurry. Just needs someone experienced to tell him to calm down.

Højlund isn’t impacting the game much. Fergie would have had him on the wing and let him run at defenders to get some confidence.

Højlund is so shit technically, I’m sorry, but you genuinely can’t believe it’s a 70 million player you’re watching.

Said previously, I’d love to have Cavani around him to teach him the little things he needs to learn. Timing, spatial awareness, placement of shots. Cavani was a master at that in his prime.

He made a run one time to win a throw in that eventually led to the goal. I saw him hold up the ball well once too. I'm pretty sure I've covered everything - it's not a great match to be honest.

Neither he nor Sesko have been able to really get involved.

I reckon it was Cole who was saying on Neville’s podcast that he spends so much time wanting to show he’s the big man on the pitch and wastes energy getting into tussles with defenders. You almost forget he’s so good when he actually runs at defenders.

Hojlund does play to his size, mostly in a bad way. Still got a lot to learn. Sesko is a better CF right now.

Yes & Yes.

He has a lot to learn about playing the position & his technical skills don't leave you with much confidence. That is why we need a starting striker for next season. Someone more experienced with a better hold up and link up play.

But you can't say that here without being termed a 'hater' or being negative or something.

He has an obsession with backing into defenders which isn’t helping. But in general I’m not seeing a player who has all the tools, as people keep saying. I’m seeing a severely limited player. I mean look at Wind today, looks a much better player.

Yep and those two were probably the biggest selling points of the game for neutrals, which is partly why it's been such a disappointment.

Keeper was brave against hojlund there. Anything else and that’s a goal. Defender maybe got an important touch too

I’ve seen Hojlund play far better and Wind play far worse. It’s been one of those games for both of them.

Hojlund having no luck in this tournament I can feel.

How does Wind look better? Because of a couple of flicks? Come on. Hojlund has way more in his arsenal. Just needs to slow the game down in his head and stop trying to outmuscle everyone.
