The kits have to do with the fact that one team needs to have a bright kit and the other a dark one and they obviously can't clash color-wise. I think that's the reason.
First kits clash, second kit for holland still clashes so they ended up both using their second kit, stupid rules didn't allow holland to use their first kit.
