Day 17: England vs Germany | Sweden vs Ukraine (Ro16 7&8)

England with zero attacking threat, we're just passing the ball about between the back seven without a care in the world.

It's a shame that England lack a goal/assist machine that knows the Bundesliga inside out and could therefore exploit Germany national team's weaknesses

This football England is presenting is called anti football. Nothing else.

Saka has been great so far. Kane's a complete passenger.

Looks like we’re going to have to hope for a 3-3 of setpiece goals, can’t see either team scoring from open play

Never knew Ireland had such a lively and vocal German supporters club.

With the attacking talent England have in there squad it’s so disappointing Southgate is a shitbag as they can play so much better

Saka's looked decent at least..

I don't think Shaw should be our entire LW, he works so much better with a winger. Maguire is more attacking than Rice and Phillips.

Maguire's another one who has had a very good start. Carrying the ball out from the back well.

Brave ref handing out early yellows

Anyone that wants Southgate to continue needs their fecking head checked. To call anti-football would be doing anti-football disservice.

 I don't think it was a red. Fouls like that happen. I clattered a lot of people from behind in my day simply because I was faster than they were.
A guy like you did that to me and my professional career was over. Sports medicine was non existant in Uzbekistan in mid '90s.

Novel, unheard contribution to the topic: is Muller the most punchable face of the tournament?
