Not fat gutted. Hirsuteness of shoulders TBD.
Kane with a truly pathetic interview.
He said we were lacking quality in the final 3rd....does he realise who that's on?
Kane with a truly pathetic interview.
Do Danes and Slovenia have to draw lots now as they've both drawn two games 1-1 and the other 0-0 so not sure how they're separated for 2nd and 3rd unless it goes down to yellow cards?
I wasn’t trying to be sarcastic as I’m genuinely not in tune with this third place stuff. Congrats to you guys, enjoy it.We are through, for a national who was happy to get to euros it's something to celebrate.
For England I understand there is not much to celebrate for
I doubt it’s much more overreacting than other ‘top’ nations who are expected to go far.
If he was closer maybe but he had a lot of ground to make up and a lot of work to do with them shot.
Boy, don't you look silly right now!
It’s position in the qualifiers, Denmark finished above Slovenia (in the same group as well).Do Danes and Slovenia have to draw lots now as they've both drawn two games 1-1 and the other 0-0 so not sure how they're separated for 2nd and 3rd unless it goes down to yellow cards?
This tournament would have been better if all the teams in group C had been disqualified before it began.

I always find this a strange view personally.
Do you imagine the scrutiny is any less in Brazil or Argentina during a tournament? Or Italy or Spain?
We are just a country that cares a lot about football.
First time in their history Slovenia qualify for knock outs of major football tournament so historic movement for them and they fully deserved it over the three games.
Let 'em, we've got him. This interviewer on ITV keeps saying about Palmer and Gordon coming on, but not how good Mainoo was.
Italy will beat us in the QF.There is a good chance you'll. Austria is the best team your side of the draw.
I think if you’re good enough you’ll show it and put in good performances no matter the pressure, they all play for big teams with a lot of pressure So it’s nothing new to them. The fact we ’underperform’ is more to overhyping than overreacting to poor performance in my opinion.I don't doubt it at all. Been watching it happen for almost 40 years. It's all or nothing, and it creates huge pressure. Player after player and manager after manager hounded. No other country has underperformed with such regularity.
Build up just to knock down and it creates weight for the team to carry.
Thanks, will definitely doI wasn’t trying to be sarcastic as I’m genuinely not in tune with this third place stuff. Congrats to you guys, enjoy it.
That's not really true. In the group stage, we drew 0-0 with Scotland and beat Czechia in 1-0 in a pretty drab match.England 2020.. dominant side who get to the final scoring at will.
Utd before last season, scoring loads more, better in defence, finished third and won a trophy.
Luke Shaw is the glue.
And a pathetic display from him on the pitchKane with a truly pathetic interview.
They don't do scapegoats quite as regularly as ye do. No other media would do to Beckham what your media did. All part of the culture of impatience and blame.
I wasn't following during 94, but I think even the Italian fans were more forgiving of Baggio missing a penalty compared to Beckham's red card? Imagine if that was Beckham. They don't do scapegoats quite as regularly as ye do. No other media would do to Beckham what your media did. All part of the culture of impatience and blame.
There's nothing weird about it we have hardly created a clear opportunity against Slovenia. Nothing about that suggested right direction, if that's right what's the wrong direction in terms of our passing and creation. We have qualified which is good but we have produced absolutely nothing to inspire confidence that we have the game to compete at the business end.Watch without the doom and gloom of this forum’s weird eternal pessimists, it’s more fun. Deffo an improvement on the last match, heading in the right direction.

They're very likely to get Portugal instead.

They're equal on pts, gd, head to head, yellow cards and their qualifying, so it's actually decided solely based on Austria being ranked higher in the world rankings. Pretty crazyDo Danes and Slovenia have to draw lots now as they've both drawn two games 1-1 and the other 0-0 so not sure how they're separated for 2nd and 3rd unless it goes down to yellow cards?
I thought with the Colombian GK, that had something to do with the cartels. Didn't watch the ESPN 30/30 documentary on it yet.Didn't Columbian fans literally kill a player for scoring and own goal?
Spain and their whistling is just as bad, they are just historically better than us. We aren't unique in as far as countries who love football in our scrutiny when things don't go well
didn’t they only score 2 goals in their group in the last Euros?England 2020.. dominant side who get to the final scoring at will.
Well Gareth Southgate is one huge reason, players being overhyped another and yes third maybe overreacting and making them feel bad and down…….i’m being harsh I know.I think one feeds the other. It happens all the time. There must be a reason.
So how do they decide which 3rd placed team goes to which bracket?
Denmark win on h2h from their qualifying group. They're equal on pts, gd, head to head, yellow cards and their qualifying, so it's actually decided solely based on Austria being ranked higher in the world rankings. Pretty crazy

They killed the defender who scored the own goal that knocked them out.I thought with the Colombian GK, that had something to do with the cartels. Didn't watch the ESPN 30/30 documentary on it yet.
