Day 11: England vs Panama, Japan vs Senegal and Poland vs Colombia

This game shouldn’t continue after half time. It has been an absolute joke. I really wonder if there is some fixing going on. Panama players are not being normal.. not even by absurdly frustrated levels

The Lingard goal was class, everything else was just the worst defending I've seen since that Saudi side in 2002. Not really anything to be learned from this match.

What is wrong with this Panama team . They are a proper bunch of thugs . How the hell did they qualify . I hope FIFA charges them for something after this game . They literally seem only interested in fouling and throwing punches . I feel by the end of this game a few of their players will be sent off . I really hope England substitutes Lingard and Kane in the 2nd half especially Lingard since they seem to have something in it for him and they will injure him .

This match is tailor made for Delle Alli . The only one who can match this Panama team in the c*nt department

No one was saying this stuff about Panama being a pub team when they were giving Belgium a game. :smirk:

This is our world cup to win. Face the facts guys it's clearly coming home.

Now we know why Smalling isnt in the squad. England would be conceding a dozen pens a game.

We didn't even play well for the first 25 minutes. Panama have been woeful.

Belgium will be a proper testm.

England dominating with ease.

I hope Panama's heads can handle this defeat and things don't turn fugly.

I should be ecstatic (I am) but a tiny part of me wants us to ease up so we can finish second and potentially avoid Brazil/Germany in the quarter finals as opposed to Mexico/Switzerland.

If not the worst footballing side, then certainly the worst approach to a game i have ever seen.

Makes Belgium's win later in the week all the more enjoyable.:smirk:

Watching the replays, ref couldve already given a penalty at the first goal, so much holding in the box:lol:

What  If Belgium beat England they'd have more points
At the moment, we'd have to win against Belgium in order to finish first.

If we score one more, we'd be able to finish first by only drawing against Belgium.

It's really not that hard to understand.

Who would they face if they finished 1st?

If England finish first they'll probably play Brazil/Germany in the quarters. If England finish second in the group they'll probably play Mexico/Switzerland and have an easier run to the semis on paper.

Obviously it's England and they might feck it up against anyone but the team is looking good and as of now finishing second place in the group would be better. They're fecking up by scoring too many goals today

They benefited from a shit qualification stage by the USA and that Trinidad & Tobago haven't been good in a decade plus. Normally, Panama is near the bottom of the final group, or having exited in the prior round. Just a perfect storm for them. The US ridiculously lost at T&T in the final match and were eliminated thus vaulting Panama into the automatic berth and Honduras into a playoff spot.

Panama’s conduct is inexcusable. Embarrassing representation for their nation on the world’s stage.

Pretty bad behavour, the Panama side is showing... hope you beat them by 10:0...

Greetings from Düsseldorf

I really think England are in with a chance in this tournament. This is the best I've seen them in a tournament some 96.

England mean business, they might actually get to the final 8 to get knocked out by Germany this time.

Anyone else gonna boycott watching the 48 team world cup?

It is fair and understandable they want representation from all corners of the globe but at the same time you have to cherish the competitive aspect of the game. Pity this year that the likes of Italy and Holland did not make it, even a few other European teams who might have been a little dull to the world audience but as least would provide some form of competitive opposition.

I wonder if Panama players have got bets on England scoring 7+ in this game.
The odds would have been good...
