Day 11: England vs Panama, Japan vs Senegal and Poland vs Colombia

Easily the best first half I’ve been seen from an England team, ever.

Panama doing a Hull City style on pitch team talk:lol:

What chances England score more than 8 today?

Kane for top scorer today?

So England just need a draw against Belgium to win the group. I think they'll do it.

I’d fancy my local pub team to be fully drunk and still beat Panama

God, they are awful!

God almighty the standard will be abysmal.
It will let in some of the good teams that missed out in as well. I highly doubt the overall quality of a 48 team world cup would be much worse than this world cup.

Goal difference could come into play if England draw with Belgium. We're both on +6 at the moment. One more and it'll mean that we could win the group without having to win the final game.
What  If Belgium beat England they'd have more points

It might be advisable to sub off Kane. These Panama morons might well up their hacking game in the second.

Well done, England. Destruction.

Fantastic finish by Jesse.

This is yet another indictment on how shit the USA played in the qualification cycle. They only drew away to this collection of crap but did smash them 4-0 at home in what should have practically sealed a WC berth - until they failed to turn up at Trinidad & Tobago.

Aye. The entire FA or the equivalent should have been sacked.

England 5-0 up at half time in a World Cup game

Panama are awful but past England teams would of lumbered to a 1-0 win. Not getting carried away but this side seem to be actually enjoying themselves and will probably give it a real go whoever they come up against

Calm down England ffs! You don't want to move above Belgium and go into top half for knockouts :p
