Day 10 | Scotland v Hungary | Switzerland v Germany

It's not great but I doubt any of this is completely off script. Think Clarke is playing for a tight game and nick it towards the back end.

They've got 4 good players out of 11, plenty of Championship standard players and not one of the decent ones is a striker so they're up against it creating chances at this level. No point taking many risks yet, if they concede first they'll be getting their passports ready.

I don't like to keep moaning about it but this has been fecking dreadful

38 minutes of utter shite so far with absolutely zero quality from either side.

Yeah, I can understand it from that point. A counterattacking approach to the game. We’re not that good so it makes sense why we’d go for that tactic.

I thought Naglesmann should have made a few subs coming into this game

Is Adams always this terrible at football? He's been dreadful, thought he was better.

Stupid card for Tah. Missing out 16 round.
Bet he will be replaced 2nd hald so Germany can let the back up getting used to play with Rodriger

Adams might not offer much going forward but he’s great at giving away needless free kicks on the edge of his own box. Asking to be punished.

Those two moments really show the weakness of Musiala. Head down and first instinct to start dribbling. He rarely looks up to see the bigger picture. Wonder if he’ll ever grow out of it or if it’s just so ingrained into his style.

I mean, those don’t sound that bad. They still sound more like group stage games though.

Very much games you expect to be deciding second and third in a group, rather than the opening round of knockout fixtures.
