Day 10 | Scotland v Hungary | Switzerland v Germany

Looked like another two footed lung from the Scottish player there.

That should be a red imo. Nothing there for the Hungarian except injuring his opponent. Then fakes injury.

Hungary are kinda dirty aren't they?

The Hungarians clearly believe in Jack Hendry given the tackles he's getting from them.

I mean the Scottish guy jumped in with both feet off the floor. Yellows for both if anything.

Have to disagree. The pitch is really bad and he had to clear a few backpasses on first contact. I was happy he consistently got them out of the danger zone, even though he didn't start attacks with the clearances.

Some of them were right but too often he seems to have panicked for no reason and just gave it back to the Swiss. Very rare for him.

Passing by the Germans has been poor overall. Especially the backs.

I think what the Germans are seeing here is a prelude to what it would be like playing against one of the more savvy teams later in the tournament.

Their team currently is too narrow, their striker isn't an actual striker and their deeper midfield is lacking a genuine late runner into the box. Musical and Wirtz for how 'interesting' they are, will get crowded out in midfield when teams drop deep against them.

Ugly ass game.

Scotland need to get the ball in the box, no point playing McT and Adams as effectively a front 2 if you are not going to get it in there.

Germany scored a good goal and the Swiss goal looked more offside than Lukaku one yday.

Jesus, worse than watching United this and that's saying something.

Certainly not one for the history books so far, unless they're using it as a means to cure insomnia.

Think they'll probably carry on like this for another 10-15 mins but then surely you would throw another striker on if you're Scotland. Get balls into the box, get McTominay in there. They're too slow on the ball to penetrate with passing. Try and win set pieces too, they've got some big lads. Not gonna be pretty but that's the best opportunity.

Scot's success in getting goals for us has usually been at the end of some team play. I can't remember him being a target man successfully.

You could be lumping balls to him until the start of the new season as they are now and he will not score. Needs someone to get in behind and put pacey crosses into the area. He can get on the end of that. He is not someone who will create himself a chance.

The Scotland game is absolutely abysmal.

These two teams are lowering the tone.
