David Moyes West Ham Manager | Gone (pedantic sod Sarni)

As someone who works for a terrible motivation-killing boss I can absolutely relate to the West Ham players right now. Considering the relatively small difference in skill between the Premier League teams being around a charisma vacuum like Moyes every day is enough to turn a team that should win about 33-50% of their games into a team that loses pretty much every game. But West Ham are a dreadful team on top of the fact that they have the most dreadful manager of all time. I think it could be months until they pick up their first win and they're pretty much a sure pick for finishing dead last, which is some accomplishment considering Palace's start to the season.

Yet his media cheerleaders will claim he'll do the exact opposite.

They would though they have a vested interest in his continued career, not only is he a great source of inside info from whatever club is stupid enough to currently employ him. But he's also a rent a quote who makes a great column filler on slow news days. If a journo has nothing of note to give his editor he just gets Dave on the blower to talk about how he was hard done by at United or Sociedad or Sunderland or in a few months West Ham.

Nothing is as bad as being managed by David Moyes. Except being stuck in a lift with the glum looking dullard.
I would ask him was Jimmy Lumsden a real person or were you just collecting two pay checks and did you fiddle with Steve round when he was a teenager.

A lot of these manager's seem to have ridiculous delusions of grandeur,

Could you imagine going in at half time 1 down to Moyes half heartedly going "allright lads chin up". I thought Roy was a delusion maniac but Moyes really takes the cake

Moyes is like a less capable shit clown than Trump. Can't possibly imagine how it would be inspiring to play for the man.
He is the vestigial twin that fell off trumps arsehole when he was playing golf in Scotland. Spent his younger years right next to a narcissistic rusty sheriffs badge it's no wonder he thinks his shit doesn't stink.

I dont think he'll be there come January. Theyll parachute pulis in I reckon.

Fair play to David - it can't be easy working under Brady, Sullivan & Gold.

It’s really something that a manager can blame his players every week everytime something bad happens. The sheer arrogance of it is mind boggling.

Moyes absolutely refuses to ever accept blame for anything bad.

How can a manager who has achieved literally nothing of note in his career possibly be so arrogant and full of himself? I could never understand that

Ya, he's going to get fired in a very very short space of time. Either that or he'll bring them down. He's a shocking bad manager!

I wouldn't normally like to see someone repeatedly fail so bad but he's used our shitness, which he had a huge part in causing, as part of the lie that he is isn't totally incompetent. he ran out of excuses a long time ago and he shouldn't have been given this job. It was clearly a CRAP appointment. What were they thinking? Is this the end of him at the top level? How does he always manage to say the worst most demotivating stuff? He'll still somehow get a lucrative job in the championship or a national team. Fecking Ireland will probably end up hiring him in a few years : (

Moyes trying to speak Spanish was funny. Then you look at the top managers here in the PL and they all are fluent in many languages. Arsene speaks, 3 languages fluently, with a bit of Japanese too.
Jose of course speaks 6 languages and Pep speaks 4 fluently and Poch speaks 2 at least and Klopp speaks 2 as well. Apart from Brendon Rogers and Paul Clements, are there any other British Managers who speak any other languages?

Hodgson speaks English, French, German, Swedish, Norwegian and Italian to various degrees of fluency.

Stat from the beeb

"David Moyes has lost all five of his Premier League games against Everton since leaving the club, with an aggregate score of 12-0."

Cor blimey guvnor. Another incredible stat for David Moyes.

Moyes said 'I'd put my name on the 2nd half but not the first'

He's a cheeky fecker, how any manager can say something like that.

Incredible how many times I read a quote and think, no way he's said that only to search and find it's true. There's no attempt to get the players on his side from him, just stunning how this keeps happening.

He's english

Turd of a manager who thinks his shit doesn't stink. Well guess what Moysie..

I never thought I would say this but I am kind of starting to feel sorry for him. Yes his interview before the game was all he did at Everton. Everton had moved on and all the other clubs he was had moved on but he still has not moved on.

I don’t.

I wouldn’t get paid the amount of money he does for failing constantly.

Exactly. He is being exposed for the hack he is yet still manages to land gigs. On top of that, his self-inflated ego and shit eating grin is just infuriating.

It's looking more and more bizarre how he was ever offered the Man Utd job by the week, his next few games will surely see him 6 games played; 5 losses & a draw.

Indeed. I was very skeptical when he got announced and i was sure we were going for Mouhrino at the time, but i was willing to give him a chance. By now it's quite bizarre he get offered any position really. Ever since he left Everton it has been one train wreck after the other

Don't know why some of you are so fixated with him. You are taking a page straight out of Moyes book by not letting it go.

I personally never felt such dislike for him. It's hard to dislike if someone is trying but is not good enough. Good luck to him at West Ham.

It's the lies, lowering of expectations, placing of blame and always putting his own image before any other concerns that grate. He's vile.

Really did our due diligence with him before hiring the smug fecker didn't we. What a joke he is. Can't believe he got the luck to ever manage us.

I'm sure he will. I wonder if he regrets making those comments now, patronising twat.

I'll bet he doesn't.

He's come out with some absolute bollocks and nonsense over the years and he never seems self aware to any of it.

For someone who loses so often he's incredibly arrogant.

Its all the players fault not his.

The fact that West Ham are now objectively worse in every respect than they were even at Billics worst....

Not his fault.

They look completely cluless all over the pitch, they are verging on being as bad as the Derby side that went down with 11 points.

I mean, he has already taken a team down with the 6 lowest points total in premier league history, its entirely possible he could make take West Ham down with fewer points than he did with Sunderland.
West Ham currently have 10 points and are earning 0.7 points a game.
However Moyes has only earned one of those points in his time so far, Billic was earning points at 0.8 points per game, Moyes 0.33 point per game has dragged the average down.

The lowest amount of points required to stay up in the last 3 seasons has been 38 points by Villa in the 14/15 season.
There are 24 games left, if they carry on with this rate of points per match they are only going to hit 27 points

I think the maths are right, I am tired and cant be arsed to check.

Pure drivel. Your hatred to Moyes is showing. Things do not change around in 3 games. West Ham have been in free fall for a couple of years. He needs at least 10 games before judging. If West Ham score that penalty the dynamics of the game changes. Players need to be more responsible instead of always being the managers fault.

Only thing Rooney's hat trick yesterday is going to do is convince him that he was right in giving him a 5 year contract..

They have a horrid next 3 weeks.. He can actually end up being fired before Christmas!! What must be the owners even be thinking,to fire Bilic only to appoint Moyes.. But they were called the Dildo brothers so I guess that explains it.

City away
Chelsea home
Arsenal home
Stoke away
Newcastle home
Bournemouth away
Spurs away

West Ham's PL fixtures in December. (they also play Arsenal away in the league cup). I struggle to see where they're picking up points from in December.

He'll be sacked by January when it's becomes apparent to the owners there is a very real chance of them going down.

"David Moyes has lost all five of his Premier League games against Everton since leaving the club, with an aggregate score of 12-0."

When he joined us, he started breaking negative records and continued to do right till the day he was fired.
It appears that since then, he has continued to break negative records.

That's 8 wins in 52 league games ladies and gentlemen or a 15.3% win ratio.

Extraordinary.
And the most mind boggling thing is that he keeps getting hired.
How does he do this and why is that only fans realise that he is a terrible manager. If we can see this, why can't the people who hire/fire him see this?

What were Fergie and 60 percent of the caf "fantastic appointment. Shush exotic manager wanting prawn sandwich crowd" thinking when we hired him.

It's mind boggling. Directors that obviously have some common business sense and know something about football...and then they sack Bilic for Moyes.. It's unbelievable. How on earth did they think Moyes could turn into a good manager?

He did ok at Everton. He was given a lot of time and i guess he built a system/squad to his liking. But that was 5 years ago now. It seems like the Utd job simply killed off what ever he did have. Lost his confidence..players lost respect for him. Surely he's a millionaire now? Why not just retire or go into commentary?

But football management is a joke. Allardyce, Pardew,Moyes (the former WBA manager) go to a club..sacked within 2-3 seasons...go to another club repeat. How many jobs has Pardew and Allardyce had? What other industry can you fail so often in and be head hunted by another big company to take over? It's a great career. Huge salaries, get sacked with big payments, walk into another job..repeat. Happy days.
