Stay of execution for him
Would love for us to give them a hiding while he's still there

I don't understand the negative attitude towards him.
He seems like a decent guy who was promoted above his level of competence.
Also the first guy after Fergie was always going to struggle.
He's done a good job everywhere else.

Sunderland and Sociedad say Hi.
As evidenced by his fantastic performance this season. No idea what people like you see in him.Sunderland was a sinking ship and it took balls to manage Real Sociedad.
He's a very good manager for mid table teams.

In the league they were only good at the start, then crashed horribly. I believe it's now 63 points in their last 56 league games. He's had well over a season to sort it out. It's one bad season. Last year they were awesome

6th and 7th in successive seasons. Semi final of EL.
He could do with winning a trophy
Yeah, every decent guy I know also never ever takes responsibility for his failures/limitations and is always looking to pass the blame on to others.I don't understand the negative attitude towards him.

I don’t think anyone has any passionate hate for him, and it wasn’t even the terrible and damaging job he did here that rattled people, it was his continued arrogance years after he had left the club which irked people.
He has his supporters in the media too (and clearly on here). Beating a Bournemouth team desperately short on quality isn’t the time to start to praise him again.
He has spent almost £200 million pounds this season to be on 34 points and only 9 wins is awful. Beating Genk and Bournemouth doesn’t excuse it.
They've been very unlucky this season too.
Over the course of the season they are -10 on xpts and we're they getting what they should would be tenth which is still a slight regression but they've mostly been unlucky/poor in front of goal
Agreed. Solid manager. Better than most.
I blame Fergie for appointing him more than I do for him failing. He didn’t apply for the job. We didn’t interview him. And had he done well and we won a league title and a cup in 3-4 years under him, Fergie would have taken credit.
7/10 manager that’s done a few 9/10 things with the squad at his disposal. Also done a few 3/10 jobs with the squad he had. The biggest criticism you could level at him is that his teams are streaky. Purple patches seem to last 12-18 months. Dire spells are rarely reversed. But that’s true of most managers.
People holding a grudge over his time at United are childish. He wasn’t good enough. He left.
There is always some luck in there, but he has spent 200 million on players that don’t really fit what he is trying to do. It was the same scattergun approach we saw at United.
He seems to have real failings when he is given a budget and is required to bring in players that improve his side.
It’s a real issue to have spent that kind of money and somehow made your team worse and less proficient in front of goal.
I don’t think for one second that Moyes is responsible for player recruitment at West Ham. What makes you think he is?

Kehrer was a panic buy as Aguerd missed first half of the season, so I'll give it a benefit of the doubt. But even as a fan of Moyes I'd have to admit he tends to mess with big money transfers, with the likes of Vlasic, Haller etc. as prime examples. It's only normal for people to worry what he'd do with the money selling Rice this summer. This year the signings were horrendous. Kehrer in particular is terrible, Paqueta has been average and they didn't really want Scammaca, they wanted Broja who should've left given that he's now about 10th choice at Chelsea.
But he was made good signings at West Ham that made them good last season - Coufal, Soucek, Bowen etc.
He was very good at signings at Everton. Piss poor at Sunderland. At United didn't really get a chance. Overall I'd say he's better than most but fallable as the manager-centric approach often is in the modern game.
His biggest weakness seems to be when he signs played from the big clubs or players that have some hype about them - e.g. Kehrer, Scammaca and Djoboudi from Chelsea. It's the lesser known players that must have been scouted well like Coufal and Soucek that he tends to do better on.
Ahem!Think Moyes suits them well. He will keep them up and in the middle of the table. With the squad they got they can't really expect much more.
Of course it is not an agressive appointment though since Moyes will never take them far.
Paqueta is better than Rice.Barely survived the drop. Once they lose Rice he's fecked.
