David De Gea

The new tweets are likely all coming at the same time because they are coming from the same source.

Donnaruma can seriously do one.

I thought him going to Madrid would mean De Gea staying was all but certain. But nope, he just had to stay.

Well feck Real Madrid. The way I see it - De Gea is twice the price Morata is. Now, I know we're not going to get 144 million him, but accepting anything less than £100 million would be a fecking joke after the Morata affair.

Offer De Gea a new deal and if he does not accept bench him in the World Cup year.

Meh, give us Bale and £50m and they can have him. They played hard ball over Morata, so we should reciprocate just the same.

Or is this why Mourinho has been telling Morata to stay calm about his move because he knows this was about to happen?

Absolutely no point selling him - when Dier and Persic would cost over £100m, then what's the point of having £150m in the bank?

Agree.

Madrid wanted to value their back up striker at £85m odd, we'd be idiots to demand less than £100m for the best GK in the World.

Personally I'd make sure we get a player in return plus a huge fee, or no dice. Maybe £50m + Bale.

100m + Real should play next season at the stoke's football ground on Thursdays and Fridays. That would teach those crazy ba*tards

Can we force him to change his appearance, identity as well as nationality for say extra £10m so Madrid mosquitoes can finally feck off?!

The screen that is smoke...

They wanted £70m for Alvaro Morata, a player who was warming their bench. £120m sounds about right what with him being the best goalkeeper in Europe.

If an 18 year old rookie (Mbappe) with only half a season of top class performances behind him is valued at £130 million then a world class goalkeeper like DDG shoud be the same if not more.

Yes, pay up or feck off should be the response from Woody especially after the Morata shenanigans.

Unless we have someone like Bale coming the other way I think the chances of us selling him are nil, unless he actively seeks a transfer (which I think unlikely) then we won't sell, Woodward seems to despise Madrid.

If Madrid want him and De Gea wants to go to, then as said above, offer us £100million or cash + Bale, and you've got yourself a deal.

I think this may be the summer where it happens. it almost feels that since we on the up, there's less guilt on DDG if he goes.

Yep, I agree. Everyone seems hellbent on trying to fleece us, so feck'em. 100m+ pounds sounds about right if you consider the Morata, Mbappe etc. fees.

Turn it in with the 100m comments. We have a history of selling players on the cheap. I'd value him at 100m yes but not a chance we'd get it.

Give us Isco and you can have him.

Otherwise, feck off.

Wouldn't sell him unless we bled them dry.

After a whole window of them trying to shaft us for Morata? Ye, we aren't giving him to them on the cheap.

We are not in fergie and Gill era anymore, We are in mourinho and woodward era now. That aint happening again what happened with Ronaldo's case. We are the Richest and Biggest club in the world.

Also a 18 year old kid signed a 100 m euros release clause right? And teams would pay that soon enough.

Even if I believe we're not as dependent of him on the pitch now as we were a couple of seasons back, selling him now would be an absolute disaster. We're on the up, and attempting to reestablish ourselves as a top club, and we cannot at any cost allow ourselves to be seen as pushovers for Madrid. We did well by not letting them fleece us for their bench warmer, but it would be a case of one step forward, ten back, if we ended up selling them DDG.

When we're back the top, coming off a PL and CL double season, and Pereira has established himself as first choice ahead of DDG, we can consider their offers.

I don't know why people would be happy to see Bale coming the other way. A 28 year old crock on half a million a week. Real Madrid will be delighted to include him in the deal.

This won't go away until United or DDG himself says he's staying. I'm talking direct quotes, none of the BS claims we've heard.

Myself, I think he'll move before the end of the window. No way Romero would still be here unless there is a good chance he's been told he's number 1 if DDG leaves. I'm sure he's already had talks with Jose about his status. Last season speaks of his ability and Jose obviously trusts him. I'd take 80m for DDG.

Feel bad for Navas. Perez is a cnut of the tallest order and fans should be livid with the way he shafts players. DDG should see it coming but he won't.

Any chance tbis is contract negotiation posturing? (One can dream)
