feck all he could do on the last, drilled hard and low, maybe should have come out and made himself big but that's it.

The second goal wasnt his fault, but the way he dropped simple crosses and the likes were his fault. Looks all out of confidence right now, and honestly; Who could blame him?

Anyone who thinks he was at fault for either goal is a moron. He didn't give an all around great performance, but he was hung out to dry by the defense on both goals. Agger had a free header since none of the defenders saw fit to jump and Kuyt had a free shot from near enough the edge of the 6 yard box when Evra went to sleep.

So no one feels SAF was wrong for going back to that blasted Keeper rotation.

The second was all Evra. The papers won't report it that way, but it wasn't De Gea's fault. He shouldn't have played this game though, tbf. Lindegaard was in a run of games and you bring De Gea in for this one? It doesn't make much sense.

What do you expect? He has no presence and no confidence. I shit myself everytime to ball is anywhere near him.

He is a total liability right now, it is there for all to see. His kicking, catching and decision making are all over the place

I can’t believe Liverpool have not used the same corner tactic in this 2nd half

I have to admit it, I also feel the same. It's the same thing with Lindegaard too but to a less extent.

Wow... I seriously don't think there's anything he could have done for the 2nd. He's absolutely leathered it from close range.

I suppose thinking about it in hindsight he could have rushed out but I dunno.

I still think in the long run he will make it, but I wouldn't mind us loaning him to some Premiership side for a season or 2.

I'd say he could of done better with the first, he was bloody fixated with pushing Carroll even though he was heading away from goal.

If he'd of stayed on his line he could of had a chance with stopping it.

Yeah. Didn't quite understand why De Gea was brought back for this game of all the games. Was always going to be physical.

Lindegaard should be no.1 till the end of the season. Simple as.

2nd goal wasn't his fault, but he should be saving it tbh.

I've always said that he'll turn out to be our long term option and Lindegaard will get more games short term.

What's the solution though? I can only see DDG being played in Europa cup ties; Lindegaard MUST be first choice for the league.

It wasn't totally his fault but he should have at least got near it.

He was poor. I don't really think he was greatly at fault for the first goal but he just doesn't seem to have any authority over his area. Constantly fumbling and looking insecure.

What the feck was up with his lazy pass in the box right to a Liverpool player?

Thats just unforgivable for a keeper

I'm not one for blaming players too much but I reckon he was at fault today, not going to hold it against him though - it's not like he wasn't trying.

What I am annoyed about is Sir Alex thinking it's a good idea to constantly change our keeper. That's not good management.

he got beat in the near post for the 2nd goal...should have done better than just falling over.

He's young, and will be a great keeper. Don't think he was at fault for either goal today.

Agreed, as soon as they scored the first you sort of knew DDG was affected and he made a couple of errors in the second half.

I don't think SAF is helping the situation by constantly rotating the GKs, this was a very difficult game for DDG to return to and now there will be even more criticism of him. Save DDG for the Europa games and stick with Lindegaard until the end of the season and see where we are from there.

He just isn't good enough at the moment.

Lindegaard number one for now.

Well he had to give both keepers chances. If DDG had been brilliant from the start he would have played 90% of all games. But he hasnt

I think Fergie erred by dropping him the first time and then picking him for a game like this as his return game.

I've stuck up for De Gea every time he's been criticised but not anymore. He's made far too many howlers this season. You can blame the defending all you want but the Keeper is the last man, he should be there to save the day.

He is terrible on crosses, looks nervous as hell - he looks like an 11 year old kid in the nets and has no presence whatsoever.

He does make the odd good save but that's not enough. He's playing for Manchester United, not Colchester United.

We are conceding goals like Arsenal - we are not dealing with the aerial threat
