Darts

Great match that, good to see Belgium come back to win.

Really odd seeing someone with a Geordie accent playing for Australia!

Nicholson is such a tool:lol: Like Whitlock though, feels like he's not been on TV in ages.
Good semis line-up now we've got through the duller earlier rounds.

Yes great semi final line up, wide open especially in this format.

It's so forced though, he's not exactly the worlds greatest actor.

Whitlock is probably my favourite player, shame he's so average lately .

Huybrechts reacting to it with his own throat slit gesture was quite funny thiugh. Nicholson couldn't take it when it's given back.
Yeah Whitlock was amazing in his early PDC years with those mental checkouts.

Second semi is living up to expectations.

That brunette walk on bird:drool:

Just watching the Tokyo Masters on ITV4 after blundering into it while flicking.
Odd tournament. It's basically the top 8 all playing Japanese players first round. The local boys are getting a bit of a kicking then QFs, semis and final tom, which looks like being the usual suspects all facing off.

:mad:Was checking what time the darts was on on the pdc website and forgot about the time difference in Tokyo. Think I've ruined it and know who wins now. Bollocks.

Some decent first round matches tomorrow.

:lol:Guess I'm the only one watching the World Matchplay given the quadruple post. It's been a pretty entertaining first round so far.

I've been keeping an eye on it. Disappointing for Jenkins.
Was kind of funny when Suljovic thiught he'd won and didn't realise it was sudden death. Feel sorry for Jenkins too. Taking out the double double at 9-8 down was class. Likeable guy too.

Anyone going to the winter gardens? I've been before however I had table tickets, I'm going this week but they are standing tickets. Anyone had these tickets before? Is there an allocated area?

Missed it last night, was out on the lash. Feck me, just seen the Barney score. He's already out of the top 16- could be curtains for him if he has a bad year.
Decent line-up tonight.

Second Round
Peter Wright v Andrew Gilding
Simon Whitlock v Ian White
Michael van Gerwen v Jamie Lewis
Adrian Lewis v Gerwyn Price

I enjoyed it, but I'm no fan of Jackpot, even if my stance on him has softened.

Want to see Wright win something major, though.
Lewis is a twat but awesome on his day. Didn't like that twat with his muscle short.
Would rather see Lewis than that meathead. He was great but just remembering that Lewis-Taylor match with the record average. Cum-gurgling rugger guy won't deliver that.

Yeah, Lewis is ridiculous when on form, tbh, even when the other fellow was on like 11 legs, I still expected Lewis to win, ffs.

One of the most amazing legs ever, Taylor missing the 9th of a 9 darter, looses leg.
Reminds of the other year at the worlds when MVG missed the double 12 for back to back nine darters and Wade took the leg with 11 or 12 darts.

Van de Voort missed the double 12 in the first round. So many players have hit six or seven- one must be coming soon.

Feck, saw Ando is out:(

Looks like a MvG v Taylor Final again
Bah, missed it again last night cos I was at our company summer party. MVG-White match sounded better than expected. Taylor-MVG final obviously the favourite, but you can't totally write off Wright and Wade.

Perhaps Wright might spring a surprise but there's absolutely no way Wade can beat Taylor. I think Phil will win another Matchplay title. He's unbeatable in this competition

I guess Wade has lost four in a row to Taylor in the final. Amazing record though that he's got to at least the QF in every Matchplay he's entered. Wright can beat MVG or Taylor on his day but to sustain it in a race to 18 legs is a big ask. Maybe it is going to be Taylor's ninth in a row. Odd he still keeps smashing this tournament, but no so the worlds.

:lol::lol:

Well done wade great finishing, will need to improve his scoring if he plays MVG
:lol:Just watched it on delay. He will have to improve uf it is MVG, agreed. Love Wade, he is such a class scrapper. He'll never outscore Taylor, MVG or Ando, but with his finishing, he is the one guy who can be 10 behind on the average but still win.
