Darts

Do they not have to win by two clear sets?

Shite. I forgot it was basically sudden death in set 13 and missed the end when I went to make a cup of tea. Moronic.

Never liked Taylor. Would like to have seen him skip his go when those darts fell out but obviously he's not the sort. Glad for Anderson, top player.

Fantastic game, thought Anderson had blown it on numerous occasions, but Taylor kept on finding his way back into it. Well done to Anderson though, seems like a good guy.

Agreed.

Anyone that is convicted for what he was convicted for is a scumbag in my opinion.

Don't want to get into that but beyond it he was grabbing Anderson's face and doing shi$ like that quite a bit, and that's when he's the one who gives out about other players doing the same thing to him. One rule for Phil, you know?

Mardle said he wouldn't have either. Bounce outs are part of the game even if that was extreme.

As much as he's a bit of a dick, I think he was right to just play on himself. Anderson was unlucky, but shit like that can happen. Taylor had every right to try and capitalise.

Delighted for Anderson, truly deserved that it looked like he believed he would win it the whole tournament

Taylor is a smug unlikeable prick which makes it even better. Cracking darts though, I was glued to the TV

Doesn't it make that set win for Anderson all the more brilliant? Never seen a set like that before.

Yeah, it was superb, especially when there were other times when he looked liked he'd thrown it away. Taylor showed glimpses of his best form, although Anderson managed to keep his nerve in the end. Well done, seems a good guy.

:lol:I wanted Ando to win but the hate for Phil in here is over the top.

Bunting, RVB, Chizzy, Wade, Kim Huybrechts and Wright the wild cards in the prem.

Yep. Pretty much.

:lol:Hell of a match. Just look back through this thread. No fecker had a clue which way it was going.

I thought Taylor had killed him with that 141 checkout and then he had the bounce out too and, more importantly than that, I thought he had started to showed frailties in his doubles and his appearance; he didn't seem relaxed anymore. Genuinely, I thought he was done. That set was the crucial moment of that final. Amazing stuff and Anderson showed the same bottle he's displayed throughout the tournament. Never thought he had it in him.
