Damn it's really hard for me to watch and appreciate the BDO world championships after watching the PDC WC. The standard is just so different. Then again the best of BDO will leave for PDC every year. Wonder why Scotty Waites still hasn't made the switch

Too easy for Scotty, O'Shea didn't turn up and even if he did not sure if he could have stopped Waites there. A bit like our own O'Shea at sunderland now 
There was a lot of fuss on Twitter about how O'Shea was shown drinking lager during the interval, and how he played like he'd downed a lot more before the final started.

Blimey, this world cup darts is more addictive than it should be. I'm not even an avid follower of the sport (though I recognise the top players obviously).

Both Nicholson and The Wizard are top players, but The Huybrechts have come on a lot this past couple if years
The final was an odd match. Lewis was generally awful, and has been throughout the tournament, then misses the double 12 for a nine darter.

Lewis is not the same player as two years ago. I want him to find his form again though. Him and Van Gerwen could have some more mighty tussles.

Cracking start to the premier league darts, not sure how the relegation system works but I think Anderson would be the favourite to go first, he looks out of sorts, but to be fair he had a tragic 2012 which probably still affects him

I like the new format, and also like the fact all matches play to a finish rather than a break half way through.

True. I think it's up in Scotland next week, so anyone playing Anderson or Thornton is going to get some grief, then next the English boys will do the opposite.

Just finally watched Thursday's games on catch up. Great start to the league. Wade, Lewis and Anderson all seem to be struggling with their form.
