Darts

Or MVG, out scoring his opponent which is allowing him to miss a few doubles.
Think he is better than MVG already. Doubt he will get Taylor numbers maybe nobody will ever get close but he's better than the initial hype suggested already.

Great to watch.

I'm still trying to process Littlers only 17 and was on the greatest stage of all at Ally Pally when he was 16.
All he's won this year and playing like that the weekend.. Unstoppable.

I'm only watching darts for a couple of weeks now so I'm relatively new to this, but I didn't know Yaya and Kolo Touré were such legends of the game. They're constantly chanting about them!

Yeah was some standard from him, especially in the semi and final. Won 9 consecutive legs vs MvG in the semi ffs.

Wait until the bloke who the crowd thinks looks like Jesus gets into one of these.

Just watched finals night and Littler just blew everyone away. Weird tournament with the odd brilliant match, but some really shite low average stuff as well from a lot of players.

World Grand Prix starts tonight @6pm Sky Sports
Double in double out
Miss it being in the CityWest Dublin actually went to the semis years ago
It was Barney vs Wade
Taylor vs Lewis
Was some night and some atmosphere.

What's the reason behind the double in rule? First time I see this

One of the only or very few that do. Traditional I suppose. Was hosted in Dublin for over 15 years.
Brendan Dolan one of the first to hit a nine 9darter in Dublin.
Obviously most players will go tops, double 16 being the most popular. If they stick or switch to get off the mark up to them. Can be a conundrum if your still on 501 and your opponent is on say 120.
Lord knows what Littler does probably double 10 then again we know he does whatever he wants.

I did not think that D3 from the Asp was going in as none of his previous match darts were in the same postcode as the double.

Littler time
Cross didn't do anything spectacular but all about the timing. Been a good night. Dark horse definitely for me Ross Smith.
Tomorrow tie of the night
Gary Anderson vs Michael Smith
Only 16 left in by tomorrow night.

Just watched last night's matches. Littler now crashed out of Grand Prix and Matchplay. He'll get easier draws at least next year as his ranking climbs.

Bunting was so good til he missed that match dart then seemed to know he'd blown it.

Smith, MVG and Littler amongst others gone.
It's literally Humphries vs the rest of the field and given the massive scare he got vs Bunting you could make a case for any of them as from the start it was the top 32.
Double in, double out and the short format even caught the best ever in Phil Taylor out, such a difficult opening round and yes he won more times but lost several Round 1 matches.
Great four days ahead and now longer set format really looking forward to it and reckon a nine 9darter incoming.

Hope one of our Belgian guys can get to the QFs but Anderson and Chizzy are tough draws.

Think the pressure has got to Joyce now, first missed the board going for 60, now hitting the T20 going for the single
