Darts

To me that was his first big pressure test against someone who could keep up with him scoring wise and He still dominated,it looks like the longer sets suit him as he gets into a rhythm and it's scary.

Does the sky booth go out to the crowd? There’s a hell of an echo if not

Think he won the Masters at 17 but did bugger all for sometime when he swapped to the PDC. Vincent went with him and someone else maybe Jelle and King and they all did fine but took MvG much longer from memory.
Sounds about right, I remember my missus getting a photo with him at the UK open years ago he had hair then!
Hes always been cocky MvG, even back then, I remember an interview he gave saying some of these players aren't very good, stuck with me that I've never really liked him.
I don't get that with Littler, he seems a good kid.

Cross was very on edge, overreacting to every little thing when playing well at the beginning compounds the downward form when not hitting the doubles.
It looked like he developed a tic everytime he bobbed his head to someone in the crowd after a good throw for the first 2 sets

Refuse to believe he's 16. This is some fake passport nonsense, surely.

Only valid comparison is Cassius Clay who was beating the shit out of heavyweight adults at the age of 8.

As someone previously mentioned, being this good at 16, although ridiculous you can understand it if your practising religiously, it's the temperament ,the handling of pressure that's more impressive for me.I don't think it's really registering with him, hopefully he can do it for one more match before the reality kicks in!

I don't think anyone is questioning that part.

No, I think we all in shock tbh, comparisons with legends like Tiger,Ronnie and Cassuis Clay says it all.
I remember watching Barney vs Taylor years ago, pushing eachother with their 110 averages, and thinking darts would never get better than that. Littler is matching them like it’s nothing - at 16!

I know, it really is incredible, I just hope as others have mentioned he can be shielded from the inevitable spotlight, he's gonna be a superstar.

Just watched a replay of the live stream on YouTube. Absolutely nuts, never seen anything like it

I can only compare him to Ronnie, who was scoring centuries at 10 years old.

My uncle used to work for Ronnie's dad, and saw this at first hand. He used to demolish really good club players even at that age.

Lucky man, must of been incredible to watch a young kid like Ronnie in action.
