Looked pretty shit to me. Shame it was him who scored. He did bugger all else.
Maybe its just me but it Rooney was in Welbeck's place, playing for Chelsea, Arsenal, City whatever and he celebrated his goal wildly he would get a ton of abouse.
But our danny boy, people applaud him, people are happy for him (happy that he scored a winning goal which has sent us out of FA Cup) and dont see anything wrong with it.
To be honest, I quite like former players not celebrating. It's one of the remarkable things that adds to Denis Law's story with us. Having said that I don't begrudge a player for celebrating and in Welbeck's case it was largely muted as well. Anyone kicking up a fuss about it needs to sort their priorities out.
ABUs being ABUs.Can't believe the media's portrayel today is that we lost on on selling him and using Falcao as a stick to but us with. Other than the goal last night, he was poor. LVG has got a fair few decisions wrong this year, however selling Welbeck wasn't one of them.
Well I doubt he'll receive a dodgy back-pass in both the semi-final and final. If Danny played like he did yesterday and continuously kept scoring, he'd be very highly rated because of the goals he scores.
Game in game out, you'll see strikers have shite games but score the winner and get lauded by their fans. If Danny continues to play like he played yesterday and scores the winner in the Semi Final and Final, do you think the Arsenal fans will give a feck? I know I wouldn't.

He won't get gift wrapped opportunities like yesterdays game in game out.If Danny played like he did yesterday and continuously kept scoring, he'd be very highly rated because of the goals he scores.

Welbeck did more for Arsenal last night then RVP and Falcao have done in about 90% of their games for us this season.

He almost took the ball out of his range with his first touch, only plus is he somehow managed to stay on his feet for once. One goal doesn't change who he is.
I don't know about that, he was poor last night.
Do you even know what you're saying?

He wanted to go. And yes he does owe the club and the fans. I don't know about your world but I personally respect a bit of loyalty. David Beckham was pushed out and had a big falling out with SAF, you never see David doing that or talk shit about the club. Danny thinks he's better than he is imho. Why should he? He gave his all whilst at the club and was pushed out the door. Danny owes nothing to MUFC club and fans.
I think Smalling was the sole architect of most of the problems he had. Danny was poor and looked well off the pace.
As for the celebration good for him. He's a professional football player who has just scored for his club in a big game back at the team which recently told him he was surplus to requirements. This whole not celebrating agaisnt your former clubs is a modern nonsense and feck knows where its started from - a weird and superficial affectation that's all. It's a fashion and hopefully, like all fashions, it will stop being the thing to do
I dont doubt it. Lots of hypocrisy all around. If Rooney left to one of those teams because the manager didn't rate him and was not really in his plans, and so Rooney left to get regular football, I very much doubt it.
Not getting top 4 will maybe cost him his job, not Welbeck.Well Van Gaal shouldn't have been horrible to him, Welbz will probably cost him his job.

How did the Chelsea fans react to Lampard again?
Load of nonsense.
Yeah fe.k me, you act as if Welbeck was brilliant last night or sthing and he clearly wasnt.Right, because RVP and Falcao have been brilliant in most of their games this season. Have added a ton of movement too our forward line, scored a shit load of goals, won us games, and we don't have a striker problem....
Feck Me
Standing ovation I think. Heard a few Chelsea fans hate him now though, but don't think it's too many of them.

Was thinking after the Etihad game but I just remembered he didn't celebrate. Think a few Chelsea fans are a bit off by him but that's due to the lack of truthfulness behind his City move.
Same, and yes he was.Big Danny fan, always have been. He was actually pretty awful yesterday though.
