Quality of opposition has nothing to do with his finishing. 3 excellent confident finishes.

All you idiots who agreed that Welbeck is worth £15m or less hold your head in shame!

Do we have to do this every time he scores in a match?

Do we forget all the times already for Arsenal that he's shat himself when he's needed to score? Hell he spectacularly fecked up at the weekend when Ox scored.

This is a miracle, not a standard thing against a frankly terrible Galatasaray team.

He's on course to get 30 this season!
Not a chance in hell. People were saying all sort of ridiculous shit last season when he scored a few goals. He'll score goals, but I think that it is very unlikely that he'll score more than 15.

In all comps? I'll have a bet with you on that?

Not arsed. He wouldn't have got the chances here and he suits Arsenal's style a lot more than ours (still a bit baffled why we sold him to Arsenal though as they had no striker available for months since Giroud got injured)... not surprised he is going to score goals. He wanted to leave and that's that, we move on, he did, end of story. It's not like we lost Ruud fecking Van Nistelrooy in his prime.

Mate, his conversion rate is very good when played as a striker and at Arsenal he'll be given plenty of chances to do just that. He'll get at least 20 this season, I said mid 20's when he was sold. You're thinking about the Danny Welbeck that played for us as a wide forward not as the striker.

Lot's of his doubters on here will have to swallow their criticisms of him being "shit at shooting", although i'm sure they'll probably say Wenger made him better. Truth is that Danny always had that in his locker, he was just way too often played out of position at United.

His conversion rate isn't good. It was good in a few games, but that is a small smaple. On a few games for Arsenal this season he has been awful on converting chances. This game isn't his norm, is an exception.

And anyway, he'll lose his place (or get shifted wide) the day when Giroud returns from injury.

I'm really happy for him. But i'm sad that I look in the Man United forum for his thread every time.

Chuffed to bits for the lad. Playing in his preferred position, in a team that isn't dysfunctional going forwards, playing for a manager who has faith in him, and he is delivering the goods. Hopefully he delivers on his promise.

With the disclaimer that I also hope that United win every game from now until the end of the season, finishing above Arsenal.

That's just not true. I've looked at Danny in some depth. Last season when played as a striker his conversion rate was 25%. His conversion rate when played as a wide forward... 0%. You're spouting the same arse that many on here have done without realising that he was played out of position for most of his career at United. A failing that has occurred way too often with way too many of our players lately.

I still love Danny. I want him to do well, and I know he would lack the chances to play as a centre forward at United, but I still believe he was worth so much more than what Arsenal paid for him. Young English international usually doubles the value. If Lallana was £26million and Shaw was £30million, then Welbeck should have been somewhere in that region.
