City's dirty thugs have unleashed The Michael Owen on their dreams. He'll score ten goals in the last two matches.
Berbatov's old trafford farewell on sunday then.
I edited last post, so bump.
Welbeck salutes mentor Rooney
Striker Danny Welbeck is grateful for the part Manchester United team-mate Wayne Rooney has played in his ascent to England's Euro 2012 squad.
Welbeck: Insists he owes Rooney a lot
The 21-year-old plays alongside Rooney at club level and is one option to replace the former Everton man as he serves a suspension for the first two games of the tournament.
Welbeck told The Sun: "I owe Wayne a lot. He has been a terrific friend and a brilliant help to me. We have really forged a great partnership.
"And he is amazing during a game. He never stops yapping in my ear, telling me, 'Daniel this' and 'Daniel that'.
"Wayne's funny like that, he calls me Daniel on the pitch, even though most people call me Danny. Yet off the pitch it's Danny or Welbz. Don't ask me why.
"I'm so lucky he wants me to do well and is always trying to advise what's best for me. You can't buy that sort of insight. He knows what it's like as a young player coming through in the Premier League and with England."
Welbeck revealed United team-mate Rio Ferdinand, who was left out of Roy Hodgson's squad, contacted the striker to congratulate him on his inclusion.
Welbeck said: "He made the effort to get in touch which I think tells you all about the man. He was obviously gutted not to be a part of it and must have been really down. But he still took the time to contact me and say 'Well done'.
"I'm really disappointed for him."

Heh. Dunno why but that made me chuckle.
Very similar to his goal against Belgium.
He's a Rolls Royce to Carroll's Volvo.
Keane rates him highly.
The thought of Andy fecking Carroll starting ahead of Welbeck in the Euro's makes me feel physically sick. There's just no comparison at all, Carroll's a big lump of shit who can head the ball, Welbeck is one of the few technially brilliant players England have. If these two were any other nationality, bar English, Welbeck would be one of the first names on the team sheet....Carroll wouldnt even be in the squad.
Sums up the backwards fecking thinking of the English game that Carroll is considered anywhere near good enough.

France, Brazil, Holland, Germany, Italy
Not really, no. That's just you getting a bit hysterical, and that just sums up the thinking in the English game (towards the English team) more than anything. Everything's hysterical. Negredo's been picked ahead of Soldado for similar reasons, for example. England aren't the only player who see the use of having someone like Carroll; France, Brazil, Holland, Germany, Italy and plenty of others over the years have used one to good success. Welbeck's a young lad still finding his way, and one that scored just 3 goals in his last 17 games...he certainly wouldn't be one of the first names on the team sheet, because the other nationalities don't get carried away at the sight of a technically competent player. Welbeck's going to go far and he is technically very good, but there are valid reasons for not having some worries about him being the sole forward for such a big tournament.
The problem is, everything you says falls down when you consider the problem isnt a 'big man' type player getting in ahead of Welbeck, its that the player in question is Andy Carroll. who is a very poor footballer. You say, against Welbeck that he's a young player still finding his way, well yes, but so is Carroll. If we talking about a big lump of a player who was experienced and proven to work at the top level, then it would be a compleltely different story. But we're not, we're talking about Andy Carroll.
I want names Brwned. Names of players on the same/similar level as Carroll, so don't give me Bierhoff or Vieri.
I remember the worst German team in history used Jancker.
Welbeck should play ahead of Carroll, no question. And the reason? Because Carroll is a poor footballer.
Gignac is a good example of a similar player like Carroll. An overrated, overpriced player who to the contrary of Carroll had one good season complete in France.
he wasn't a flop when he was at Newcastle, his poor form is clearly from being in a new team and nothing else, there is no need to be sensationalist about him.
Wouldn't you rather have someone like Crouch, who at least has a decent goal-scoring record at international level, as well as having had a better season than Carroll, if you wanted that target man option?
He wasn't poor for Newcastle is your argument?
He had one good season in the Championship and 3 good months in the Premier League, since then he's been more often than not, poor.
Michael Ricketts did exactly the same thing, he also made the England team.
No. My argument is there is a case for him to play because of the style of England. My point is sensationalist BS doesn't add anything to your opinion.
