Such a wonderful attitude, just as lovable as Chicharito, never a downcast look and always plays with joy. Exactly the sort of young player you want on your team.

If you wonder how Berbatov isn't getting more games, look no further.

More to do with him not suiting the way we play, as his agent alluded to.

Its funny how we trust what agents say whenever it suits us. He's hardly going to come out and say "my client has lost his place to youngster because he's playing better than him".

Welbeck is just a better team player than Berbatov in most aspects. The one part where Berbatov is probably at a significant advantage is with his passing. But due to the fact Welbeck plays the ball often a lot faster and links up better, Berbatov's better vision doesnt end up being of more value to the team. We'll also have to see if Welbeck can continue to get on the scoresheet like he has been previously this season.

This video should be posted on every page, preferably at the top. Compulsory viewing for every Welbz fan.

Should definitely be starting for England in a front 3 at the Euros. He's better than any other forward except Rooney.

Just want to put this here.

How similar is the style of link up play at the start of this video (apart from it being awesome anyway, Fletch wrestling with Richards and arcing up was great), similar to that of the style that Welbeck brings to the team. Clever one touch interplay that when comes off just looks sublime (like against Wolves). I hope he goes to the Euro's this year. More experience for next season the better!

Aye. Pretty common knowledge that. Always good to see it again though :D

Manchester City had Ryan Giggs in their youth team for two years but ended up losing him to Manchester United at 14 years-old.
??

I thought Giggs had gone for 1 training session and played for some youth team run by a City scout.

I would love to see him get a league medal - a young, local lad with a great attitude, who's done brilliant in his first proper season in the first team.

Hasn't he already got one?

I remember that quote from Neville when he was introducing Owen to his new teammates "This is Danny, he's 19 and he's already got a league medal"

I thought Fergie was bit harsh on him after that "sloppy" pass. I think even Rooney could have done better there, since it wasn't that poor from Welbeck, but it's easier to blame him.

I think the fact that it was 6 minutes from time, 1-0 up in a must win-game, with him trying a stupid flick instead of just laying it off with his instep for Rooney three yards away that did the trick.

No, he wasn't it. It was a brainless piece of bollocks similar to what Ramsey was doing earlier in the season until he got told off.

It wasn't that it was sloppy, it was that it was flash.

I don't think it was just about the pass, after we scored we suddenly looked nervy and lost the ball a few times unnecessarily, Danny was the culmination of that and even more unnecessary than the rest.

I absolutely love this guy. He is a proper Man United player that has come through the academy. Fantastic

Really wish he showed a bit more confidence in the box and was better at putting away chances. He's really very wasteful. I'd be worried if Rooney got injured because Danny and Hernandez just don't seem to be scoring much.

He's just having a bad run of form, he'll come good and become a really top striker in a couple of seasons. He's only 21 and will be inconsistent.

He needs to work on his finishing, missing a few easy chances chances in the box and needs to be more lethal.

His finishing is definitely one of the worst aspects of his game, and he really needs to work on it. He worked hard like he always does, however today wasn't a day for hard workers giving their all, it was a day for clinical finishing to put away QPR.

That's the worst he's played all season - thank feck it didn't end up costing us. Been a good season for him overall, but he has suffered a dip in form in recent weeks.
