Someone on twitter (no idea how reliable this is):

The "10 days from training" bit would surely have been mentioned by now if he had really been so specific. And the "no issues with Welbeck" is about the contract story.

Considering the 'presser' was this morning, it's probably been mentioned. Probably in the press conference thread.

Or you could read the thread your posting shit in and see it's been mentioned multiple times.

Twitter makes me hate people.

Any update on his fitness? Will he be available for Sunday?

Only really seen this from the Telegraph preview of the game

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson sees end to injury crisis ahead of Arsenal showdown at Emirates - Telegraph

Welbeck is expected to have recovered from a minor knock sustained as he scored against Bolton in time to face Arsenal who, according to Ferguson, have fully recovered from their last meeting when the champions trounced Arsène Wenger's side 8-2.

Sir Alex Ferguson quickly ends Danny Welbeck contract speculation at Manchester United | Football News | ESPN.co.uk

Sir Alex Ferguson has rubbished reports that Danny Welbeck is stalling over a new Manchester United contract.

Reports in Friday's media suggested Welbeck had demanded a £60,000-per-week salary from the reigning Premier League champions. It was claimed that United were only offering £45,000-per-week, opening the way for the striker to depart Old Trafford.

However, Ferguson quickly doused speculation over the England striker's future, during a press conference that also saw him announce the returns to fitness of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling.

"There is no issue,'' the United boss said. "We know the situation well with Danny. There is nothing to worry about there.''

Ferguson refused to discuss controversial 18-year-old Ravel Morrison, who hardly did himself any favours last week with his immediate response to the United manager's claim that he had turned down a contract offer.

Morrison has subsequently been the subject of various stories, and has himself played down links with Manchester City.

"I have nothing to say about that,'' Ferguson said. "It has nothing to do with the game against Arsenal [this weekend].''

Not surprised in the slightest to see him staying. He seems to be a hard working lad, who loves the club, and wants to simply play for us.

I think we should play Chicharito with Rooney, instead of Welbeck, for the Arsenal game. I can see them giving us a lot of chances due to their defending uncertainties especially with offsides. Without Vermaelen, they cant setup offside too well.

Well, I wont be surprised if Fergie plays Chicharito and Welbeck if he is fit, and partners Rooney and Giggsy in midfield. One thing I really like about Welbeck is that he can hold the ball much better than Chicharito. Maybe he can play behind Chicharito in this game.

Hernandez and Welbeck up front with Giggs and Rooney as CM? :wenger: Carrick is guaranteed to start and the only way Hernandez and Welbeck will both start is Welbeck out wide.

 He looked so embarassed when he had to give Giggsy a bit of a telling off for delaying with that throughball.

Bless.

His build up play is very awkward at times, looks very leggy.

Never stops running now, a few years back his work rate was typical of a centre-forward but nowadays he's everywhere.

Fluffed it at the end to make it 3 but great to see him score again. If it's true that he is after a better contract he is going the right and professional way about it.
....and he's a Manc!

Top player, just needs to develop that swagger and arrogance and then he'll one of best all-round forward around.

Good game from him overall, he did well with the one cleared off the line I thought and a nice finish for the goal.

I'll not dwell on that fluffed chance at the end.

Good goal but he really needs to improve his touch on the ball. God knows what he was doing at the end i don't understand why he didn't just hit it.

I think we all have to remember hes only 21, his contribution this season (so far) has been amazing and he'll only get better

Fantastic game from him today although he could have had 3 goals. No need for the attempted trick at the end but I don't care, get in!
