are you talking to me or Duckula? Personally, I rate De Rossi although i accept that in a lot of peoples eyes, the confederations cup wouldve been a chance to prove the level he is at, and he was disappointing.
That said, he isnt trying to advertise himself to anyone because he is happy enough at Roma - but if they were to recieve and accept a good offer for him, with their current financial situation i wouldnt be surprised if he agreed to leave, provided it wasnt for another italian club. I also think he would be well suited to both the EPL and to our team, and would be a great player alongside our current midfield crop.

From what I've read, Roma may be getting sold to some fairly rich businessman. Nothing on the level of Man City/Chelsea, but if it's true they certainly won't have to sell De Rossi to raise money anymore.

Pretty much, although I don't think that the fact it was a glorified friendly match came into it much, the whole Italian team have been consistently poor ever since that World Cup win IMO.

Love to De Rossi joins us as he is one of the few complete central midfielders in the world. Admit he's had a bad season though hard to find a players who hasn't and one bad season or game doesn't make a bad player. A new leage, club and challenge might be just what he needs, and i think £20 mill world get him. Essentially we could use the insurance money we'll get for hargreave to buy his replacement.
