I think if i'm in control of a big club i would sign every young player with potential

First off, it'd be great if people stopped comparing him to bloody Giggs and the two Ronaldos. Those are 3 of the most exciting, and effective, players I've ever seen. Then there's Gareth Bale... ok, he's Welsh and quick... can we stop though?
People have automatically jumped to counterattacking and balls over the top, and others are talking about his close control at speed.
This is a £15m 21y/o kid from the Championship. What I'd expect from him is a high work rate, playing at a high tempo. Pressing to win the ball back, and then the ability to keep it. The fact that he can be an out ball on the right (the one we usually find Ashley Young in atm) is great too, and his amazing pace will make him easier to hit. He's exactly the sort of player that can help others around him play their game. Individually he can be dangerous, with that one superpower... but Premier League teams can usually cover that approach. I really hope our fans keep their expectations measured. If they do, we might have a squad player here who makes a real contribution for years to come.

That's how I am seeing things.
Morrison was good enough and played well for West Ham in the premier league. He just never had the right mentality and preferred to make trouble.
Wilson was good but same again - poor mentality and never kicked on due to bad injuries.
Greenwood and Gomes definitely have the talent, but only they themselves can make the next step. Gomes is a baller but he will have a hard challenge coming up against much bigger men. To be honest though even in the reserves the players are "men", so I don't see him having a problem.
He models himself on Sterling. Seems a better comparison. Similar size, speed, dribbling style. Not saying hes as good obviously
The video's been flipped unfortunately, you can see from the sponsors and shirt numbers. James could at least have shaved an eyebrow off to help us notice; lazy player, do not want.
Trade him for Martial. He could not possibly be any worse than today's present excuse for a player.
Too much effort involved in that for him.
i've never seen him play or heard of him until today but i'll be very disappointed if he doesn't turn out as good as Giggs.
Or local lad Lingard. The actual championship player.

Whether they're successful is another thing. Most of the above were anything but. But they weren't seasoned professionals by any means. There was youth and promise, that's all.

Rashford is basically black Mata when compared to Daniel James's pace.
I think he was a bit older and had a decent number of appearances in Holland. But def a punt. Nothing special when we signed him. Turned out to be the case couple years on too
He'd be a hell of a lot more expensive if that's what he was.

Our current manager was one. We’re going way back with that but it definitely used to happen. Ronaldo could be argued to be one as well.
In today's market, 15mill is peanuts! Yeah he's been at Championship level but if were to sit and wait for him to mature we may lose out. Get the signings done early and let them gel somewhat before the start of the season.

We do a terrible job making lazy player comparisons. If he comes in give him a chance before building him up to be something he isn't or knocking him before having a clue how he fits in.
It also doesn't mean we won't be signing a RW that could make more immediate impact. It's a long summer.

Aaron lemon was a great little player for a while. If James reaches anything like that we will be happy IMO. I remember he was the only guy that made Evra poop himself regularly.

I have seen few people saying he can pass the ball with both feet. In the videos l watched it's just a mirrored video, he was using right foot almost all the time.
