Back to the Glazers?
Maybe to Arabs or some consortium..
Back to the Glazers?
What interview? In the interview that came out yesterday from Sir Jim he did say there were still big changes to be made, this maybe was one of those.
This I understand but having spent so much time and money on an appointment, five months seems to be too short a time to make a conclusion either way. Wasn't Vivel supposed to be our 'hard mode' player analyst who can uncover hidden talent? And to have them work in tandem would have been ideal as Ashworth's organizational and administrative skills are still key.Owner wasn't feeling this recruitment worked out for one reason or another. He opted to not commit a sunken cost fallacy.
Ashworth's whole FA "England DNA" had a funky smell to it at club level but did good for the NT over the years on a philosophical direction. He seem a good structural exec but doesn't come across as an uncoverer of talent, we need a hard mode 'player analyst' as DOF that can find us the diamonds in the rough.
Would be good, he seem like he has no business running a football club, at least when viewed from the outside. The end of the line for bicycle man as well?
Look at what he did at brighton and the structures he left behind there. The guy is elite, that no one can deny.Owner wasn't feeling this recruitment worked out for one reason or another. He opted to not commit a sunken cost fallacy.

Edu is going to Forest.Oh dear, he’s been caught doing something I reckon
Edu next?
Only when the follow through. We've all done that at some point
Edu next?
Ashworth comes across as a very long term and careful General whereas SRJ and to some extent Berrada seem to be more direct, they must have had some sort of ideological clash that couldn't be mended or reconciled. This I understand but having spent so much time and money on an appointment, five months seems to be too short a time to make a conclusion either way. Guess he pays for pushing to keep and back Ten Hag and SJR was still critical of the squad in recent quotes I saw online. He was obviously leaning this way. Where do we go from here because we need that structure work?
Surely it's internal. Might be differing opinion and he is in the minority.
It depends on the terms of the contract, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a probationary period, or something to that effect, so that we could get rid for a lower fee in the first 6 months. I presume positions like his are based on a permanent contract. There’s no way he agrees to mutual consent unless they had something to sack him for
Why would you say goodbye to all that money
You film it and upload it to Onlyfans for the weirdosYeah, but it was a wet one
Him saying Twitter is better than it’s ever been is like saying this United team would beat the 2008 CL winning team.
If this was the reason then he has to go. His job is basically to make hard decisions, not influenced by public but only by logic.Personally I don't think you can put the ETH extension on him. You can't publicly chase other managers, undermining ETHs position and allow him to continue like nothing happened with no sign of faith. I wanted ETH gone in the summer but the very public 'review' was the big error imo.
He should have had a different role than DOF. I'm eagerly waiting for more details.Look at what he did at brighton and the structures he left behind there. The guy is elite, that no one can deny.
This has got to be the likeliest explanation. Nothing else makes sense.Oh dear, he’s been caught doing something I reckon

There are many words to describe United over the past decade but boring is definitely not one of them. If it were a soap opera you would say it’s not believable enoughI'm done with football. This club just bores me to tears on and off the field.
It's only just heating up!!Just when I think the banter era is easing...
I mean that would be a huge problem if we still appointed a manager that the sporting director didn't want. That would put into question the structure and how they are operating. That's not to say Ashworth would be right but he should be the leading voice.Yep, could be as simple as that he doesn't agree that Amorim's preferred system is the best way forward and thus, has no choice but to leave.
Don't worry, we'll be top half in the championship soon enoughI give up. Let me know when we’re a top half team again…
