Ineos looking like absolute clowns again and again.
Would this really be a big enough deal nowadays to fire him?100% been caught with a brass or something
Which suggests something else has happened, ie, he's not happy or has done something that affects his ability to work. In which case the club has done the right thing.Because the sample size of his performance isn't long enough to make a sound decision.
United instigated it apparentlyCould be for personal reasons.
My thinking100% been caught with a brass or something
Possibly, maybe they thought he handled the ETH situation badly too - he may have been the only one that wanted to keep him but caved in the end.Maybe they aren't convinced by his recommendations for the summer, coupled with players he's already recommended.. you just don't know, but recruitment has to be pretty much perfect now and it was basically his entire role right?
There were murmurings at Newcastle that his influence waned over time, and i think we all just ignored at the time because we were excited
This is what I'm thinking.Gregg Wallace situation?
I don't think it's that. Recruitment atleast takes a year or two to play out. This feels like butthurt egos more than anything.Someone is not happy with the recruiting
It was Joel GlazerWould this really be a big enough deal nowadays to fire him?
Why does it mean that? Perhaps he's really unhappy about the ownership meddling in his work.Which suggests something else has happened, ie, he's not happy or has done something that affects his ability to work. In which case the club has done the right thing.
It’s definitely become a thingEveryone loosing their minds without knowing what has unfolded. Decisions like this aren't taken lightly and them calling it mutual is because something happened internally and they have agreed to keep it civil and part ways without it becoming a thing.
I fear you are right. This sounds too fast to be about performance.
Sounds way more like he disagreed once too often with Ratcliffe or Brailsford. I hope not, because I'm not seeing much future in Ratcliffe declaring himself supreme leader.
Same here.Legitimately thought this was going to be a cheap clickbait joke thread of someone seeing him leaving the stadium yesterday to capitalise on the hysteria of losing yesterday.
So what the feck. Hope there’s a really good non-football related reason for this otherwise it looks awful.
It's all speculation though, the actual "thing" is unknown. Sometimes it's better that way for a multitude of reasons. It’s definitely become a thing
Am wondering if it's a class with Ruben and he wants to work with someone he knows? Is the Hugo Vianna deal to City a done deal or is he poachable?
