Blind favd a link, is enough :D

I hope he can bring his father as well, who is a good assistant coach.

Even some journalists follow him or interesting Twitter people from my timeline....i don't understand that
IndyKaila is also followed by high profile Journalists. I guess they follow accounts like Agent Edward and IndyKaila for the comedy value.

we could have a line up with
Rvp Mata Di-Maria Blind Shaw and Rojo.
That's 6 left footed players in a starting XI. That seems new to me.
Also makes 4 of our 5 signings left footed :-)

Good signing. Our midfield is still not world class but it is step in right direction. At 14M he isn't even expensive in current market. Also offers flexibility tactically because of his versatility.

Do people think he could match the level of say, someone like James Mcarthy of Everton?

Do you think it's conceivable that Blind will be signed purely as a stop-gap until we try for Strootman in January, then after that he'll be cover for almost anywhere on the left side?

He might not be a player of the highest quality like Vidal but LVG knows him very well and if he thinks Blind can improve us that is enough for me.

Penalty shoot-out pain awaits :(

Why we must wait for Strootman? He's hardly the only good CM in the world and we need quality now if we really want to achieve our targets this season.

Given our options in midfield, I don't see why that should be the case. You have to have 4-5 good central midfielders these days.

Danny Blind is part of a succession plan with the Dutch national team he'll replace Hiddink after the euros.

We need a left footed goalkeeper and rightback. :)

That has been the most baffling thing. Once we signed Herrera it seems that Vidal, Strootman and Blind were the only midfielders who existed to Manchester United.

I didn't say we have to wait for Strootman, it's just that we don't appear to have gone for Vidal or perhaps De Jong and LVG is known to be an admirer of Strootman.

If we are to believe the rumor-mongering British media, it appears Louis is committed to bringing in Strootman in January. So why not think of Blind as a fix for the moment while we wait for Strootman?

It's not what we would want, but it appears there are doubts about Vidal's knee, Carvalho's readiness for this job and the appropriateness of bringing in a City cast-off (De Jong).

We don't have to reach top 10 in the world right away, but we have to be able to put away the Burnleys of the world before we can think of putting away of the Citys and the Chelseas. Daley should help us put away the Burnleys.

Why does everyone assume Strootman will be such an easy signing for us?

Exactly,it wont be esp. if Roma will still be on the CL then or fight for the title.

Blind being a fix before we get strootman in january sounds nice but ot wont be so easy.

If Lvg knows how to use blind and he suits his system Im all for him.

I guess one big benefit with Blind is that LVG doesn't really need to "teach" him that much. He should be able to "do as told" pretty quickly.

Roma will definitely fight for the title with Conte gone. Can't see them getting out their champions league group though.

Didn't we sign a injured RVN?

No, we pulled out of the deal. Then PSV put his training session on TV to prove he was fit and his ACL blew out right before the cameras. Fergie stayed in touch with him all through rehab and we bought him a year later.

What's behind this to make everyone seem to think this is done? Read back a few pages and can't see anything other than tweets...
