Whoscored.com rates him 10/10 for the last match. What I saw was a very frustrated Ronaldo with poor passing and heavy first touch and two unintentional assists. I know this sounds funny, but if you had watched the game you can tell something is wrong.
I hope he gets back to his best form soon.

That's ridiculous. Our best players were Ramos, Kroos and Benzema imo. And I wouldn't have rated any of them an 8 tonight.Whoscored.com rates him 10/10 for the last match. Why would you judge a player based on talent, not on what they accomplished with the talent and results and hard work?
When he recently spoke with the Daily Mail, Bobby Charlton was full of praise for Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently received the MARCA 'Pichichi' award as the top 'La Liga' goalscorer last season.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is changing the game in Spain. With all that pace and power and athleticism, he is driving Real Madrid back into dominance both there and in Europe" he said.
The legendary former 'Red Devil' also discussed the Portuguese star's Ballon d'Or. "You don’t sit back playing 10-yard passes the way you’re facing with this lad in your team. You go for it. I'm so glad he got his World Footballer of the Year Award. Lionel Messi is a great player, too, but Cristiano deserves the honour. He’s setting football alight", he said.
Charlton is still fond of the former United player, but he isn't upbeat on the chances of CR7 returning to Old Trafford: "Sadly, even though there’s been a lot of talk lately including him saying how much he loves United, I can’t see it ever being possible for us to get him back here".
Finally, he fired a barb at Guardiola, saying: "That tiki-taka has been found out now and even Pep Guardiola is moving away from the Barcelona way at Bayern Munich. It is going out of fashion, thank goodness".
Thought some may be interested in Charlton's quotes:
I echo his sentiments. There's nothing wrong with disliking Tiki Taka. Once you get past actually analysing it and appreciating the technicalities of it, it's incredibly boring and fraustrating to watch.
Counter attacking with a solid defensive base will always be infinitely more entertaining.
I love watching tiki taka.
Counter attack is not a style, is just another tool you can use in the course of a football match. "Tiki taka" or wathever you cal what is associated with using as much posession as possible in football doesn't have an opposition, you either play well or play bad, having the ball a lot and making the most of it is not a style, what Barcelona did is playing the game of football better.
Like technical football of the absolute highest standard and control.Barcelona did play the game better but in turn completely destroyed everything that makes football watchable and turned it all into a robotic procession.
You would...
Counter attacking is absolutely a style of play. It's not just the act of blasting forward in numbers with pace, it's far more complicated than that. It's a delicate balance of defence and attack, having the players to soak the pressure and invite the opposition into your own half. The balance of marking the opposition defensively while creating space in the right areas should possession be turned over.

I personally prefer a quicker style of football but this post is laughably shit.
So what he's saying is its most definitely on?
Well, you are describing a phase of the game, a tool a team can use to score a goal and win a match. Sometimes you are going to defend, sometimes you are going to attack, sometimes you are going to use the tool of counter attacking. You priorize the different tools you have according to your players and the different necessities of a football match. Counter attacking is not a style just as tiki taka is not a style, they are different aspects of the game, counter attacking to take the best of the space you create on the opposition or keep the ball and find space with players with a good vision and technical ability.
Not a single team in the world is set just to apply one of these tools, that would be foolish.
You mean playing the game better than others is destroying football? Yep that makes a lot of sense.
Well tiki taka is a "phase of the game" if we are going to be pedantic. All tiki taka means is when you have the ball, you retain possession and work the ball around the field playing high percentage football patiently waiting for and forging an opening. That's all Tiki Taka is. A tool in exactly the same way counter attacking is.
The pressing up high up the field and other philosophies Guardiola employed at Barcelona are unrelated to Tiki Taka other than the fact he used them together.
Tiki Taka = patient with the ball, generally press in their half, many passes to generate opportunity.
Counter attack = press in own half, invite pressure and then charge into attack quickly exploiting any gaps. Number of passes generally low but irrelevant.
Both are generally referred to as "styles" as it's what characterises a teams way of playing.
According to Real Madrid players, Cristiano Ronaldo uses the nickname 'motherfecker' for Lionel Messi behind closed doors. [via telegraph]
Just had this retweeted onto my twitter timeline
Yep, Ballague wrote that in his new book apparently. Also that whoever is seen talking to Messi is called motherfecker by Ronaldo and his teammates. and Ronaldo's teammates call Messi his little dog..Just had this retweeted onto my twitter timeline

No wonder he feels at home there.Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be a resentful person, who feels familiar with the superficial and ordinary values of a club like Real Madrid.
Ronaldo seems to me like he's a bit obsessed with Messi.I think it was Guti who after leaving Madrid said that Ronaldo would get visibly upset and frustrated whenever Messi scored.
