Of course not, believe me, that doesn't interest me at all! I cannot be thinking about that. I feel good at Real Madrid, and I will continue there. After, the future, only God knows.

he's coming home he's coming home he's coming

He's dropped out of the Portugal team for their friendly: Damage to eyelid and eye, blurred vision, dizziness and headache according to the Portuguese team doctor.

For those who missed what happened. Here's the incident

Love that he still went and scored, with one fecking eye!

Eh... It looked painful, but I'd say if it was important enough he would play.

Navarro's a thug, but Ronaldo's naive for turning away from the ball and running into someone going up for a header.

The pain isn't what is stopping him. Probably wasn't even painful at all. It's annoying as feck because it will just open again and again unless you let it heal properly. Stitches usually need a couple of days at least.

Looks deliberate to me.

I didn't think it was deliberate in real time, but then you realise that it's Navarro and he's got previous. There's no doubt he knows where Ronaldo is, so at best it's dangerous play, at worst it's deliberate. I'm sure he didn't plan to hit Ronaldo in the eye, just a little bit of early intimidation - there's not many refs who'll send off a home player two minutes in.

It's the way he jumps with his elbows forward at Ronaldo's face. I don't think that's a natural way to jump.

Offcourse it's deliberate, the guy's a fecking thug. Anyone who seen the game yesterday saw how they wanted to intimidate us making countless dirty fouls from the very first minute.

No surprise it was he and Pepe who had a brawl after the match, two of the biggest thugs in football.

I only "heard" about it and after knowing that he still went one to score and was replaced only at half time I was sure it was just a ploy for him to miss the National team match. Looking at it now, it was nastier than I thought. I still don't think it would prevent him from playing but don't blame them for using it in their favour. These National Team friendlies at this time of the season are totally idiotic. In Gabon, nonetheless...

As a side observation, it's incredible how differently players behave when they're really hurt as opposed to when they're pretending. Had it been a slap in the face we would probably watch him roll over 3 times.

Said on CNN that Ferguson is like a father, but Mourinho is the best coach he's worked with.

We are in agreement about the retard

 what the feck?

Google Translate?

Reckon he was referring to Higuain

To all those who questioned the word "retard."

Here it is again,

Have you already said goodbye to La Liga?

No. There are still another 29 matches to play and loads of points to play for. We are in agreement about the retard, a large disadvantage, but all is possible. We must fight until the end. Evidently, we don't have the right to lose anymore points. We are conscient of the difficulties, but we are now ready to face them.

They were talking about the number of points that Real Madrid were behind FC Barcelona and they are playing catch up. Basically, "retard", means roughly, "to catch up."

Fair play to him, at least he is being honest. I have nothing against him, but it's the united fans who piss me off when discussing about Ronaldo, it's like they are talking about their ex boyfriend their still in love with.

Is that how you feel about other great players for us also?

So it pisses you off it when still love Cantona, Beckham etc too?

Strange.

None of those players wanted/asked to leave us, without having any problems with us whatsoever. If he doesn't want to be a United legend, then I'm not going to act like he's one.

What about Best - would you agree that he was a United legend?

Beckham had a funny way of behaving if he didn't want to leave.

Are you seriously comparing the way Ronaldo left to Beckham, Cantona and Best?!!

Come on..

I see your point.

One worked his arse off for years and left us with 80 million in the bank which allowed us to sign a replacement who would be an important part of a title winning team.

The other ended up turning up late for for matches, allegedly turned up drunk for training, then left for nothing whilst our team, lacking in talent was relegated. Nothing alike at all.

Or one who gave us all of his best years, and one who used us to get to spend his best years in his dream club, which wasn't Manchester United.

I'd much rather idolize Best than the 80 million pound Ronaldo left in our bank.

And before somebody (as usual) pushes it to the extreme opposite, Ronaldo is obviously one of the greatest players who played for us, and every United fan have many many fond memories of his time with us, but with the way he left, he will never be a United legend IMO, sadly. (Unless he decides to come back, which looks pretty unlikely).

This. The weird antagonism some feel towards Ronaldo is bizarre. He agreed to stay on for one season longer than he might have, it wasn't a case of disappearing at the first sign of an offer. And it had always been mooted that he might eventually want to go to Madrid. Why shouldn't we count him amongst the club's legends?

Yeah, feck him! Portuguese kids shouldn't come here if they're not life-long United fans!

Yeah, because that's not the extreme opposite to what I said. You're either NOT allowed to come here, or you're a f***ing United legend! There is absolutely nothing in between.

People don't join clubs to become legends of the club, what makes them iconic/legendary is what they achieve and Ronaldo achieved a hell of a lot with us. If Manchester United fans want to remember a bloody great Manchester United player with passion then why is it a problem? He stayed on for a year, he hasn't said a bad word about us since he has left. If he wanted to leave it was his personal choice, football is much more than staying at one club just to satisfy a bunch of fans who can't appreciate the fact you have given them so much time of your career.

I love him and I want his babies.

Failing that my daughter is his for a phone call.

The fans can remember a player fondly and appreciate the huge things he did with the club whether or not we're his 'dream club'. Loyalty and good service doesn't always mean being a one-club man.
