Whenever someone says Ronaldo has a stronger attribute than Messi it has to be proven otherwise.
Ronaldo IS more athletic. He is stronger, he is faster, he can jump higher - he probably has better stamina too.
Whenever someone says that Ronaldo can shoot harder Messi fans would say, well, but what does that benefit him when Messi can curl it better.
I'm not saying Messi is fat or lethargic, I'm just saying that Ronaldo is more athletic. How insane to say that Messi isn't the best in the world in all aspects of the game. I'm also saying that Ronaldo is a better header, do you disagree? Oh, Vidic is a better tackler.
I would still have Messi as the best player - go figure, you don't have to be the best at everything to be the best. Imo, on paper, Ronaldo is the more complete player, but in reality, Messi is the better of the two.

I doubt it. If he goes back, I can't see United being able to afford him, thus leaving City and Chelsea. He has previously stated that he considers United his second home, so going to another club in the PL would be like spitting in Fergie's face.

Not all people can easily put 15lbs of muscle on just like that, and not all players, no matter their talent wish to - just like I said, Messi doesn't need it, but he isn't the athlete Ronaldo is.
Ronaldinho had more talent than most but kinda wasted it by not staying fit enough. Ronaldo is a bit the opposite; he had bags of talent, if not as much as Ronaldinho, but he spent hours and hours working out and making himself as good as he could possibly be.

Which one fits Ronaldo and which one fits Messi? Saying then that it depends on how you look at it is all about how you look at it, not at how it is defined and what athleticism really is about.
I don't think I'm too far off the mark. Don't you think Ronaldo's game has benefited from being extremely atheletic? Don't you think Bale's has? Giggs has a completely different build than Bale, so he probably wouldn't benefit from it as much. Giggs was, imo, a better player than Bale - and my point has never been that Ronaldo is necessarily better than Messi. My point is that one should accept that their games are different and that Ronaldo can do things Messi cannot, and vice versa.
One of Ronaldo's main strengths is his athletecism - he is extremely fast, running with and without the ball. How often doesn't the team just put the ball behind the defense for Ronaldo to run at - no defender keeps up with him. You cannot do that with Messi, so they play a different game - that is pretty much what I said about it.
It's all getting quite silly as I opted to talk about them being not similar in terms of build as proof that they are very different players, then people start talking about licking chests, legs that are sexy and what not.
