It seems like the journos are on a rumour cycle. We started the summer with Ronaldo. Then Thiago. Then Cesc. Then a little bit of Modric. Now back on Ronaldo.
So we'll be back on Thiago soon, right?
"Thiago disappointed by Guardiola forcing him to play as DM now regrets not taking the United offer he all of a sudden remembers getting and looking for a way out of his Bayern hell."

He doesn't even get free Sky TV either. Also does cameras on Rugby and Cricket and Darts interviews. He's filming at the Rochdale game tomorrow too.
That's how it started as he wasn't my customer, he was waiting for the other salesman so he could pick up his new car. I asked him if he got free Sky, he said no they were subcontracted or something. He said cricket was boring to film, so I suggested he couldn't wait for the footy season to start. He said he wasn't that into football anymore, but he supports United if anyone cos of his missus. Anyway, I said I was just waiting for us to sign anyone and he said, confidently, 'Ronaldo is coming'. I said 'You're having a laugh' and then he said, 'No, its at the stage where we are going to have camera people at the airport'.
Now it could easily be bullshit, but his employment stacked up, and it was just the way that he said it.
I'm not one for WUMs. I don't bother. Just thought that considering the source it was worth reporting here.
I can't understand why people don't understand that putting Bale and Ronaldo in the same team isn't as simple as "well one can play left and the other can play right". Ronaldo frequently switches wings, we saw this all the time with him and Giggs, and indeed during the CL games against Madrid this past year. He moves around the pitch based on where he perceives the defences weaknesses to be, and the rest of the attack shifts around to accommodate this movement.
Here's an article by Gary Neville on Ronaldo describing this aspect to his game. (Daily Mail, sorry. Shame Neville is writing for them)

A large part of Bale's evolution this season was learning how to do the same thing. The "Bale is no longer a winger" line was a running theme throughout the year for good reason, the player himself stated that he is no longer exclusively a wide player. This doesn't mean he starts in the middle, it means he's learned how to identify the which fullback he'll have more success against, or whether there's space between the lines he can drop into etc.
That is why Ronaldo and Bale in the same team doesn't make sense. Not because they both want to play on the left, but because they both want to play everywhere, and their styles of play are not at all complementary (i.e. someone like Mata plays all over as well, but his game would complement Ronaldo/Bale and vice versa). Quite simply, they're going to get in each other's way.
Who would take free kicks ?
Was he not put off by your erection when he told you Ronaldo was coming back?
Anyway, Im declaring this back on like donkey kong....for about the 20th time this summer....
I stood on the opposite side of a car. Convinced him that when it moved slightly, it was an optical illusion.
Well I believe you, all my hopes and dreams for this summers window is now on what you say. You carry all of my hope now, so if this is not true then I am going to hunt you down...for buttsex
I never thought we would get Eric Cantona - We did
I thought we would get Sneijder - We didn't
I thought we were going to get Thiago - We didn't
I never thought we would get RVP - We did
I thought we were going to sign Ronaldinho - We didn't
I thought we were going to get Shearer - We didnt
I did not think e were going to get Andy ( sorry Andrew ) Cole - We did
There are more, but you get the idea
I do not think Ronaldo is coming back to United
I still think that if there was even a chance that Ronaldo would come back this summer that Fergie would not have retired. He'd have given an arm and a leg to be able to play a team with Ronaldo in it again.

Disagree. Ferguson was very clear that he retired to spend more time with his wife after her sister (and "best friend") died. Family trumps all else.
Is that an option for anyone, or just SAF because I might be interested?I dont think so, pretty sure giving more time to his wife trumps playing another season with Ronaldo in his books, unless he wants to divorce the wife and marry Ronaldo instead.

Is this BBC Sports Correspondent 15, and afraid of punctuation? All that's missing there is an OMG.I am thinking the same, but maybe there is something is this.
BBC SPORTS CORRESPONDENT: “It doesnt make sense why Real Madrid has reached a 105 million euros agreement with Tottenham on Gareth Bale if Ronaldo still has a future at Real Madrid on my opinion Ronaldo has no future at Madrid because last week he has refused to sign a new deal at Madrid worth 56 million per year and 350k per week and it seems Ronaldo is ready to hand in a transfer request.”
Idk, I feel he wouldn't have been able to resist another tilt at the UCL with Ronaldo in the team. It's just a feeling I get.
United > wife and kids.I dont think so, pretty sure giving more time to his wife trumps playing another season with Ronaldo in his books, unless he wants to divorce the wife and marry Ronaldo instead.
