Ronaldo recently launched a site called Viva Ronaldo, in association with Nike? It's on!
Daily Star's backpage tomorrow...
Assuming that's planted from Ronaldo's side rather than just made-up by the hacks, then Madrid must really be playing hard-ball over the money in his new contract if Ronaldo's side are putting things like that out there.
Players leak the stuff to newspapers all the time. Although the article is nothing new or important, obviously Ronaldo would love to come back considering he's history here. The main sticking point is our ability to finance the deal and whether Madrid will want to sell him. Unfortunately the answer to both is no.
You know, he had it all with us. In 2009 he threw everything away to live his dream and become a star. You think he wants another challenge or would he want to rejoin the club which made him the biggest star in football?See, I just don't know if that's true. He seems to me like more of the forward-thinking type, looking for new challenges.
Come on KM, you should know better than to post news from rags like The Sun, The Daily Mirror and The Daily Star. They are as laughable as Daily Sport...

Question is, what other challenge is there? Other than staying at Madrid or coming back to us, the only other destination I see for him is back at Sporting. That's not a challenge though.

This doesn't get said enough. He stays with us he wins 7 league titles in a row, and probably another CL. What's he gained by fecking off other than becoming the most expensive player ever?
Is his reputation enhanced though? Moving to play in direct competition with Messi has just left him endlessly (and unfavourably) compared to the Argie hobbit.
And if he comes back, I dont really care about who plays in central midfield. I will always have the confidence that we can score one more goal than our opponents.

Sir Alex: "Everything is in place for a big signing. I could go for a really top player now."
Cocks out!
Would hurt to see him in a Chelsea shirt hope this doesn't happen but with their spending power and Jose persuasion tactics there is a possibility.

I agree and am surprised not many see this as a possibility.
Jose and Ronaldo are very close.
Maybe spurs will do us a favour and finish 4th.
I guess he gets more money, he is closer to his home, his reputation has enhanced and he is certainly twice the player he was when he left us. Maybe him and his family wanted better weather? When he scored 42 goals for us in that season I was like WOW but now its like his average per season.
199 goals in 196 games for Real Madrid. Absolutely fecking mind boggling stats.
When did he say that ?
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/312980/Ronaldo-I-d-rejoin-United/When asked if the money was there for a big signing, the United boss revealed: “It probably is. The Glazers have been great - every time I have asked for anything, they have delivered.
“If I was to ask about going for a certain player now, I think they would do it. There has been a wind change. I could maybe go for a top player, if that’s possible.
“It doesn’t matter where they play - if you get a top player in it improves it. We had Chicharito Hernandez, Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney last summer, but we still signed Robin Van Persie.
“We’ve won the league because we’ve got a good, strong squad and I think we’ll add to it.”

These are the quotes doing the rounds: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/312980/Ronaldo-I-d-rejoin-United/
I wonder if he has a "certain player" in mind?
