Il be glad to be rid of all the cr7 dick riders who pretend to support whichever club their god is currently playing for. Every comment section on every article or post is full of these muppets sticking up for the prick.

Some of the posts here turning a blind eye to the problematic quotes and yet embracing his other favourable quotes is selective stupidity.

Im sure most fans here agree with a lot of his quotes (despite it being unacceptable to say while still being paid by the club). However, it’s the bollocks about him being forced out and the disrespect to the manager that is the problem.

You can’t just support 8 things he says right and then ignore the 3 major things he says which are completely unacceptable. He’s a nob for doing the interview at all.

I think a lot of the posts are hypocritical considering all he’s doing in the interview is criticising UTD which is what all of us ever do on the Caf. Piers Morgan is his Caf and he’s entitled to it imo.

That's quite a take.

We aren't paid 500k a week by the club, we don't have active contracts with them as an employer, we haven't had the opportunity to play and actively effect the fate of the club, the club didn't make us millionaires as teenagers.

You are talking complete and utter nonsense by not making that distinction.
To be fair to him he does have about 50 posters of Ronaldo on the walls and a little Ronaldo shrine in his bedroom.

Ronaldo may have once been one of the best footballers the world has seen but he must have a very tiny numb brain. ok some of what he says maybe true but to come out and openly crticise your employer whilst still employed and whilst hoping another employer will take you is beyond foolish.
He is mentally unstable imo, i dont mean that in a derogative way. He must have issues.
Anyway thats him finished at the club, hopefully we get a top striker in this window.
The timing is interesting, ill ahead of the game yesterday. WC starting in 7 days, united have a couple of games before the transfer window opens. I'd say it's an interesting timeline.

Anyone who honestly thinks he is doing this for the good of the club and the supporters are completely deluded. Its come about purely for selfish reasons because he is an egotistical prick. He is out to serve only himself here
Who on earth thinks he’s doing it for the good of the club - he always does what’s best for Ronnie

Hopefully he destroys the leeches in the interview and it gets huge airtime in the US. The ownership of this club needs to burn to the ground.

Where on earth does he think he's going to go from here? He's looked godawful this season, and has just publicly shown himself to be a toxic liability. And he earns £450K per week. Good luck Mendes.

In the summer he was coming off the back of a decent season, goals wise at least, and even then the only person that was in for him was that numpty over at Chelsea. I struggle to name a single club that would sign him up now. Maybe some club president in Portugal might foist him on an unwilling manager? But he might genuinely not be able to find a club, unless he's prepared to go to the MLS or some such.

He may have some valid points about the club not advancing, but those things you share internally at the club and you don't ever dish the dirt in public.

The guy is a Grade A narcissistic twat and he makes a great pairing with Morgan. The two of them deserve each other truly. The comments about Rooney were beyond the pale.

Must never, ever play for the club again.

You are so lost if you don’t understand the difference between a senior player criticising the club publicly which he currently plays for and fans on a forum. Such a stupid post.
I wonder if there's any level of nonsense and stupidity his fans aren't willing to resort to. It's such an embarrassment.

Correct. I don’t believe he’s ever done anything with the clubs interests at heart. It’s always been about himself throughout his career. I’ve not got an issue with that but then don’t pretend to be the clubs ambassador and the fans voice. He no way came back to help the club. He came back because it benefited him. The fact he flirted with the idea to join city which seems to have been confirmed by some of his quotes just shows he couldn’t give two shits about the club.

It will get lost in his attack on the manager. If he meant to attack the owners then he shouldn't have done it this way.

Any attack on the club ownership will be undermined by the self centred tantrum.

We knew all the valid points.

The timing was planned. Piers Morgan confirmed it already on TalkSPORT this morning. He said Ronaldo wanted it released just before leaving for the World Cup.

This was the “I will speak soon” event Ronaldo was harping on about.

I only see positives coming from this interview.

Ronaldo is surely gone.
There’s pressure on the board to sort the shit out he’s complaining about in the interview.
New players will be needed to replace him going.
The fans and players are firmly on the side of Ten Hag and will back him even more now they see what he’s dealing with on a daily basis.

Perfect timing also, they’ve got a free 6 weeks to get their shit together.

I hope this puts an end to the embarrassing chanting of his name we often hear from our fans

Threw a few the chefs under the bus too, fully expected United to fire them for no other reason than that he appears to like change.
Twerp.
It was actually cringe hearing that part. To suggest the chefs are still the same comes across as a criticism of them. It should be glorified if anything to show the club has remained loyal to the hard working staff.

Ronaldo shouldn't have brought chef into this.

That was his big mistake.

Souness claiming Ronaldo was given promises by Ten Hag that he then reneged on.

Also saying no one will remember Ten Hag in five years time.

Funny thing is Morgan is a snowflake, he walked off set on GMB when confronted regarding his Megan abuse. They deserve each other. How the mighty have fallen when appearing on Talk TV.
Morgan's only goal is to get numbers which generate income.

Regardless of the platform and the interview content...any journalist who gets the story from the most followed man on earth on an exclusive basis is quids in.

Strip it all back, and that's all this is about. He's not Ronaldo's friend, he's put time into massaging his ego to get the big one.

I think ETH secretly is delighted this interview has come out.

It basically blows away any outside pressure from pundits and media that try to justify Ronaldo needing to start. ETH can tell him to feck off now and have the support of every rational fan and media.

Honestly, it has been evident for long that he is a complete narcissist. Ronald Trump is accurate, except this guy was once quite good at something.

For a long time, he has only cared about himself and making himself look good. That was probably a big driving factor for his success, but now that his ability has drastically declined during the last few years, the only thing that is left is a deluded, self-obsessed human being.

His world-wide admiration despite his deranged personality has baffled me for some time. The constant childish GOAT debate and the highlighting of individuals over clubs is the epitome of the downfall of fan culture.

How deluded of him to think the club is the one living in the past. Oh, the irony.
