Ronaldo, has been taken for a ride by Piers Morgan and the talk show, this proves Ronaldo has got no one aiding him or helping him out in situations like this or he has and doesn't give a shit.
This speaks volumes in how his UTD career goes on, I said last week after the Villa away game he's played his last game for UTD. And with this interview it's over now. He's wanted out in summer he still wants out and he's putting all the blame on others!?
They guy is a legend and hus legacy is being tarnished by this bollocks interview his people and him should never have done.
Well done Ronny and Morgan .

Talking about it on Newstalk now , Souness backing Ronaldo saying ETH has let him down and treated him poorly. Jordan calling out Ronaldo and saying he should be drop kicked out of the club.
feck me, how? How has he been treated badly?
My head hurts and it’s thanks to thick cnuts like souness

I would like to know how ten Hag has treated him poorly. Ronaldo is the one that tried to push through a move in the summer and stormed down the tunnel against Spurs. Some would argue ten Hag has been too lenient on him.

He just wants to cause chaos and get ETH sacked. We're finally on a good path and he doesn't like it.

its funny looking at the divide appearing amoung pundits. Its a real with him or against him thing

Its actually not too disimilar to the Roy Keane Saipan incident. Explosive interviews and all

Treated him poorly.
Started him in a lot more games then he deserved and made him captain after the whole Spurs episode.

So you mean let him leave for free? He was under contract and nobody wanted to buy him. So much so they were coming out in droves to say it in public
It isn't entirely the Glazers fault as I point out in my post. However, while we'll never know the full details, surely there was scope for him taking a lower salary elsewhere? Paying to get out of the contract? I believe they had influence on this decision to keep him and the reasons behind it were largely commercial. If it wasn't Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, they'd have got it resolved with the result being that the player left. 100%

As a big fan of Ronaldo, I find his behaviour and performances this season extremely disappointing.
He should have known the situation at OT before he returned. All of the fans knew so it ought not have been a shock.
He has a point about the lack of development at the club. We all know that.

EtH has been perfectly correct in the way he has handled Ronaldo. Every player has to earn his position and that means every player.
He must be moved on in January.
We can not tolerate this attitude.

Ten Hag has played this absolutely perfectly from the start.

It was clear as day he didn't want Ronaldo as part of the squad, but despite that he's given him plenty of chances to perform and Ronaldo has failed to take them. He's also given Ronaldo enough rope to hang himself with and he's taken the bait beautifully with his petulant actions this season.

Sooner he's gone from the dressing room the better. Whether that's a mutual termination, freezing him out until his contract expires or miraculously finding a buyer I don't care. Just get rid.

Team Ten Hag all the way.

It's sad it actually come to this after all the success he had with the club in his 1st stint and then even last season, as bad as it was, Ronaldo scored 24 goals so judging by his stats it was successful comeback to United. If there were clubs interested in him in the summer this all would've been avoided, but this way it ruins his relationship with the club and most of the fans probably.

Ronaldo may have once been one of the best footballers the world has seen but he must have a very tiny numb brain. ok some of what he says maybe true but to come out and openly crticise your employer whilst still employed and whilst hoping another employer will take you is beyond foolish.
He is mentally unstable imo, i dont mean that in a derogative way. He must have issues.
Anyway thats him finished at the club, hopefully we get a top striker in this window.

Spot on.

I haven't defended spoking to PM, I have defended being open about the lack evolution at united. They're different things. If as you say, it was out there anyway, being open about that shouldn't be an issue. So, why are you so angry?
I’m not angry - I’m annoyed that there are gullible gaslit people such as yourself defending him because he’s slagged off the Glazers so all is fine. The narrative now seems to be he’s right, needed saying except about ETH - completely missing the whole thing is a toxic self-serving excuse about why he’s not to blame for any of his behaviour - especially his Ragnick comments and perfectly explain how we went from 2nd and a flawed team but ultimately a team that were seemingly playing for each other to the disparate shambles we became within 6 months of him joining. He’s bang on - we are ran by incompetent people - or at least we were - the jury is out on the new crew - but by far the most incompetent thing they ever did is sign Ronaldo as seen by the fact not a single other club now wants him. And the harsh irony of all this is that most of the same social media sheep congratulating him on taking it to the glazers are the same social media sheep that were screaming “STORM OLD TRAFFORD!!!” when it looked like he was going to City. They’re a part of the fecking problem because unfortunately the club sodding listens to these hysterical eejits.

If Fernando Santos wants to avoid needless distractions, he should outright boot Ronaldo out of the team and send him home ASAP because Portugal will feck up early if he doesn't.

Ronald Trump probably thinks Ten Hag disrespected him by

1. Not starting him whenever he wants to play
2. Not abandoning a playstyle that forces more running from Ronald Trump

Which are all hilarious reasons to think he was disrespected if he wasn't a narcissist.

In actuality, Ten Hag has done
1. Tell the media he looks forward to playing with ol' Ronald. And generally always telling the media he had a role to play.
2. When Trump left at halftime, instead of solely answering the media's question that focused only on Ronald, also brought in his teammates as a way to shift blame away from Ronald.
3. Given him the arm band, and continued playing him after that Spurs match

I don't like the way my boss run things so I will go out and air their dirty laundry.
I'll be kicked out the very second.
I know about the Glazers and all but buy a club and run it better then.
You're a f*cking staff, you're "obligated" to get along with it. Or quit, those are the only two options.

Does anyone else feel like this is actually quite positive for United?

In terms of timing it is perfect. We have no games for a month now so this doesn’t cause any disruption in the dressing room ahead of a game. On top of that it comes on the back of a win gained through a piece of individual brilliance from a young emerging talent, so very little pressure on Ten Hag and if anything he looks vindicated for favouring youth.

For Ronaldo this adds pressure on his own performances just one week ahead of a World Cup, his last. It could also create a bit of an awkward situation with two of his international colleagues who are in favour at United. It’s hardly where you would want to see Ronaldo focusing his energy this close to a tournament if you’re a Portugal fan.

Due to this timing, there is zero chance this gets patched up between United and Ronaldo before the World Cup and in fact very unlikely to be reconciled at all. Ronaldo will have played his last game for the club and by releasing this interview he will only have accelerated United’s planning for a short-term replacement in January, which was much needed anyway.

Finally, the icing on the cake is his condemnation of United’s facilities and lack of investment. It sounds as if he stopped short of taking direct aim at the Glazers which is a shame but the correlation is obvious. You will now hear ABUs like Piers Morgan and Ronaldo’s pals in the media repeating this, as it’s the only argument he has made that really holds any water.

All in all this is not a bad outcome for United and gives us a good opportunity to make a clear statement demonstrating that no player is bigger than the club. A statement we should really have made a year ago by passing up on the opportunity to bring him back.
I am seeing some of this too (not that it stops me being pissed off at Ronnie).

Most of us want Ronaldo gone, this should enable that. The consequences are less circus (like Pogba going), settled dressing room, ten outfield players who press and maybe, the Glazers see the need to ensure top 4 with a new forward.

The annoying thing is I’m sure Ronaldo could have pushed a Jan move internally and not given The Prick an exclusive. Could have kept his United legacy intact… now it’s tainted.

Onwards and upwards.

As a big fan of Ronaldo

Genuine question, can you explain a bit more about why you are a big fan of Ronaldo. Just his football or more than that.

I have never loved Ronaldo beyond his talent as a player and I can't see how anyone can. Great footballer but has shown himself to be an arrogant, self centred prick for years. People put up with it because he kicks a ball pretty well.

No offence but you should probably take a step back and reevaluate how you view famous people if your heart is broken by this. Ronaldo has always been a narcissistic cnut of a man. Always. I'd worry for anyone who sees this interview and is surprised by his behaviour, as it's nothing new

Secondly, Messi has always been the greatest, by some distance. Only a few dipshit United and Sporting fans ever thought any different
I didn’t say my heart was broken but there will be millions and my son is one of them, he’s first United shirt was a Ronaldo shirt (O8/09) and he adores him, but to hear Ronaldo talk shit about our club feels like a knife in the back. Calling Ronaldo fans dipshit because they feel he’s better then Messi is a pathetic statement, it’s not only a few United and Sporting fans but the whole planet has an opinion. It’s like you’ve just come out of a cave.

He’s not as smart as I imagined, which I suspected in the Summer. Stupid as feck not to have a club lined up before he starting acting the dickhead.
And now… if he’d just have focused on the Glazers and infrastructure, he’d have naive fans lapping it up as though he cares about the club.
Slagging off ETH though is stupid as feck and makes it transparent as feck that he cares not one iota about Manchester United, it’s all about him.
He has zero respect for managers and their systems, he still believes at his age the system should be built around him.
Stupid cnut.

He’s that divorced from reality I suspect he expects to rip it up at the World Cup and have a queue of clubs after him following it.

There’s a lot to be said about the Glazers but not by someone who’s being paid £500,000 by them to be play when he chooses and then be shit when he does.

I think a lot of the posts are hypocritical considering all he’s doing in the interview is criticising UTD which is what all of us ever do on the Caf. Piers Morgan is his Caf and he’s entitled to it imo.
You are so lost if you don’t understand the difference between a senior player criticising the club publicly which he currently plays for and fans on a forum. Such a stupid post.

The moment his stock was high enough to trigger Real’s interest he was doing his damndest to force his way out, talking about being treated like a slave. Then his twilight years come and suddenly we’re good enough for him again.

Sick of his shit. It took some doing to make me happy about his return, but I got on board in the end, but every time it’s crunch time he throws anybody under the bus to sate his ego.

Anyone who honestly thinks he is doing this for the good of the club and the supporters are completely deluded. Its come about purely for selfish reasons because he is an egotistical prick. He is out to serve only himself here

We aren't paid 500k a week by the club, we don't have active contracts with them as an employer, we haven't had the opportunity to play and actively effect the fate of the club, the club didn't make us millionaires as teenagers.

You are talking complete and utter nonsense by not making that distinction.
