Yup. It's one of the reasons players are advised to not go to court. FIFA's stance is to not transfer registrations while court cases are open.

I agree that he shouldn't have done it, he's obviously been deeply hurt by the alleged mistrust and disrespect. Now that he has, I look and what factual statements he's made (from his point of view) and ignore the slandering of individuals. The club hasn't shown the ambition of clubs like Real, nobody dares to talk about it publicly. The attitude of our players is also very accurate, just look at the likes of Martial and Sancho. I don't agree with the way Ronaldo did it, but he's right on this account...
And what good does it do to bring Ronaldo on with 3 minutes remaining? I agree with Ronaldo here that the manager at some point tried to make a statement, that he is the boss. I for one think ETH actually lacks capabilities in the emotional department. He's a good manager but man management capabilities is still very much TBD.
He just got it.I hope he gets a big fat lawsuit to kick off Portugal's World Cup campaign.
What the feck is this post my godWhy people have trouble with the "rat" comment?
I don't consider "rat" as an insult. Consider for a moment, the world a rat lives in. It's a hostile world indeed.
Has a rat ever done anything to you to create this animosity you feel toward them? Rats were the cause of the Bubonic plague, but that was some time ago. In all your born days, has a rat ever caused you to be sick a day in your life? I purpose to you, any disease a rat could spread, a squirrel could equally carry. Yet I assume you don't share the same animosity if Ronaldo call Rooney a squirrel, do you?
He brought the club into disrepute. Adding in admitting to refusing to come on and it’s 100 percent a sackable offence. If it’s not I can’t think of many situations which would be.
If it all works out in our favour, I'm going to believe Ronaldo did this without taking advice from his usual people.Of course it does. Ronaldo might think he's played a blinder here in 'freeing' himself, only to come to terms with the sobering reality that no one actually wants him in the big leagues. He's been awfully advised throughout this whole sad saga.
This is the hill you choose to die on?Why people have trouble with the "rat" comment?

Any serious football person or even fan (notice I didn't say fan of a football celebrity) would probably know Ronaldo's in the wrong. You might get a few like Souness who will side with him just to try and destabilise the club.As far as I can tell, United fans are disgusted by Ronaldo's actions but followers and other casual watchers are more likely to think the club and everything to do with it is evil. Wrong or not so wrong?
His image will take or has already taken a big hit. We can make that hit bigger. Ronaldo's career is at the fag end. We should focus more on our own principles imo. The club is bigger and will longer than a 37 year olds fag end career.Pretty much. My Facebook feed is full of friends of opposing teams deciding that we've been the bad guy in this scenario, Ronaldo deserved more respect etc (pretty much parroting what Ronaldo says) and that they'd take Ronaldo at their team in a heartbeat. So I don't think we should be under any illusions that the world is going to turn against Ronaldo after this.

?Could get a new jacuzzi or two!I wonder how much we could fine him prior to ending his contract? 2 months wages is 4 million pounds!
"I should get out of Manchester as the circumstances are not right," he said.
"Nobody stood up for me and my desire is to play in Spain. Will it be Real or Barcelona? It will be one of them."
Ronaldo claimed: "For some time I haven't had any support from my chief executive (David Gill) or my coach (Sir Alex Ferguson). They should have come out in my defence but no-one did.
He's the most famous player to have ever worn the clubs shirt. You don't want to completely poison his association with the club
Ronaldo is not a scapegoat. He is a dumb GOAT who borrowed cleaver from Piers and put it on his own neck. There is always a scapegoat at the club in the media, however just or unjust. Since he arrived it has been Ronaldo. It will be someone else once he leaves, but you can be sure it will be someone.
He's been nasty to his hero, obviously. What is this statement based on?

He will probably remember that Napoleon quote at this pointWhat the feck is this post my god

Isn’t it the Roy Keane situation? By opening it up again and talking about how happy he is to have done it would make it misconduct in itself?I can think of plenty.
And agree that what he’s done might not constitute gross misconduct. Refusing to play is probably the best ammo the club have but they’ve already disciplined him for that.
couldn't agree more with Jordan. Peirs literally had zero objectivity and was merely there to "girl talk" with ronaldo for 90 mins in a massive circle Jerk. So many things Ronaldo said made absolutely no sense and didn't square with something he said five mins ago. Infuriating to listen toJordan v Morgan
I think it is fair to argue that Ronaldo has done the poisoning, fame is fleeting in a couple of years Ronaldo will disappear up his own backside, Utd will still be one of the biggest clubs in the worldHe's the most famous player to have ever worn the clubs shirt. You don't want to completely poison his association with the club
I was wondering about this. Surely him doing these little things have got to add up?Isn’t it the Roy Keane situation? By opening it up again and talking about how happy he is to have done it would make it misconduct in itself?
By all accounts he claimed he was too sick to be a part of the Fulham squad then does an unauthorised interview in his leave of absence as well.

He isn’t forced to accept it. He (or his legal team) can say that United are in breach by terminating and sue for his losses. In the meantime, he can sign for another club (with his wages partly mitigating his alleged loss).
United fans will side with ETH, because we have been in freefall, and need someone to rescue us, and we think Ten Hag is the guy. Ronaldo no longer is, as he is 37 and in rapid decline. Also Ronaldo's behaviour has been really bad.
However that doesnt change a few hard realities. Ten Hag has achieved f-all compared to Ronaldo. All he has is couple of trophies from a second rate league, while Ronaldo has won it all. In 15 years time, ETH(like most managers) will fade into obscurity, while Ronaldo will always be celebrated, as the one of the GOATs of football. There's no comparison.
So I can understand if Ronaldo felt disrespected by ETH's actions(not subbing him on against City for "respect" but then asking him to come on for 3mins against tottenham). Ultimately, it should have been handled behind closed doors, and its time for Ronaldo to leave the club.
He clearly said "rest of the rats". He obviously meant Rooney was one too. No need for interpretation, it's said clearly. This, it’s how you interpret it thank you I didn’t explain it right, but it’s no surprise the ones who interpret it differently tbh.
honestly, is it commission based per interactions, or do they pay you guys a flat fixed fee?Why people have trouble with the "rat" comment?

No, they wouldn’t fight termination so he gets his move. Ronaldo’s camp could then sue for unfair dismissal and for wages etc.I hope so.
Spoony man you're too worried about his fans! Like him they're mostly wankers.
Come on, it's obviously a joke from the poster - and a very good one. What the feck is this post my god

Exactly. Some people can't understand it though it's so simple. We were 6-1 down to City when he didn't want to sub him on, and 2-0 up vs Spurs, so totally different. On this last point, we were getting thrashed by City but we were thrashing Spurs. Is it not obviously more respectful to Ronaldo to not sub him on late against City while City are bending us over than subbing him on against Spurs while we have them bent over?
Fifa can't transfer registration while there is an ongoing court case about his registration. He has no leg to stand on, if he wants to continue playing football. He isn’t forced to accept it. He (or his legal team) can say that United are in breach by terminating and sue for his losses. In the meantime, he can sign for another club (with his wages partly mitigating his alleged loss).

I genuinely am not sure - and I think that says everything. Some of his fans are that crazy. IF it's satire then it's a good one.Come on, it's obviously a joke from the poster - and a very good one.
